Only the huge corruption is bothering us, that money could have been easily spent on poor people's education with free lunch. God help us to follow the path of Mahathma

not necessarily... Leaders like Mahathma evolve and change people..People did not elect mahatma as leader... he just came like messenger of God at the required time..

agreed we need to change but india has alaways wanted a leader (a Guide)who initiates or brings about a change & the masses will follow.
Yes Indians are so much at peace with themselves that they don;t care about others!!! they just live for themsleves ...don;t care about anything else . its called "Selfish"... Indians the world over are known for being mean and cunning. they will throw their garbage into someone else's house to keep their own house clean.

Compared to all other countries' people indians are more selfless. That is for sure.. we have to improve upon that..

Due to pressure on Angrez to free india by USA before 1947
The Angrez in their retaliation told the kickback broker Nehru broker (nehru was among many brokers) to ally with Russian block. Pak was allowed to use USA as their supply block in which angrez were there. All these blocks were made on purpose.
Even though all these blocks have a deal with one another and unwritten agreement about the level of weapons and technology they will sell to xyz nations so they can be on one another's neck.
There is a reason why Nehru went for NAM, he wanted to keep that kickback account with angrez that Gandhi dynasty still uses (though they have many more accounts now). there is Much more to it about Asia and especially indo-pak/etc in the trap ...
this is the reason why PVNR was removed (to be replaced by dynasty and MMS), PVNR nor Lal Bahadur Shastri have all the keys, contacts and controls of the kickback and black money system that bjp-congress nexxus has.

There are problems everywhere guys. India has been great in the sense that inspite of all the setbacks, corruption, problems, like the author says - people are in peace with themselves. That is the power given to us by our parents, teachers and elders. We can survive anywhere. People fight in the name of religion but I would say that if a time comes, Indians will support each other. More people are moving towards philanthropy.

on the other hand, dont u think ppl should be more active in the politicial and social circle of life. Noone gives a dam about the country, noone has any sense of nationality or responsbility. Its unlike any nation. People lack basic common and social sense like not littering streets and pavements, not being destructive towards facilities, have good behavior, respect law and order..
and with the population overflow, india will sooner or later implode on its own..

when you have started thinking and thanks to internet and democracy in India has expressed above concern itself is a democratic process of churning good thoughts/ideas at a given point of time for betterment of the society. It the way Indians are living since edges only now some ungrez has given it a name of democracy it is in our DNA. You & me are not having that much daring to implement what you said above, but somebody will do and become Hero & we all will worship him, another aspect of our society. India, is bound to grow for sure.
