Rediff, please publish the letter written by Subramanya Swamy to PM. You used to publish letter written by every tom dick and harry to bjp leaders. Looks like you are practising yellow journalism by being favourably biased towards congress?

Dr Subramanya Swamy has not been given by rediff nor the media. He was one of the core reasons for which the 2G spectrum is in the lime light. But everyone knows Raja but not Swamy.
Why can't we have our own writers to Interpret us Why India has to be endorsed by foreign writers to be something. Why everything needs to be approved by Western Intellectuals. Why can't we have our own intellectuals interpret us.

because we ignore the good things written by Indian authors.
How many people have read books by Dr. Radhakrishnan, Gurudev Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, early reformers like Raja Ram Mohan Roy, anything by the Lal Bal Pal trio, the Bose's, Gandhis ?
So we need to ensure that whatever good is written by white skinned men must be popularised.

It is alright to see yourself from a different perspective some times.
Since we grew up as Indians, there are a lot of things that we take for granted, and unless this is something that you are seeing for the first time it would be hard to highlight the oddities.
India doesn't "need" endorsement from anyone to be something. This great nation has been and will always be.

Literature, like music, is without borders. dont make it looks like a we-versus-them issue. Accept, understand and appreciate the power of literature to unite the world. Even Rabindranath Tagore wrote about Russia and Japan. Do you want to condemn those saying that being an Indian he should not have written about foreign countries?

We are wht we are; their is no need for a french writer to acknowlede us. But......wht is the harm in finding what a foreigner thinks of us? This curiosity is also one of the attributes of we the Indians. We should be honest abt that.
why this long-term peaceful living because of our very strong & time tested Hindu way of thinking which is unparelled n comparative with any other religion in this world. Good that world started realising n acknowledging now..
