Who will define anti-religious and anti-social?
by uddip talukdar on Dec 24, 2011 08:03 PM

What is anti-religion? "I hate all religions." Is this an anti-religious statement?
"Hang the corrupts," isn't this antisocial too? (I am speaking of killing?)
Indian System is yet to understand that iron-clading is over. WWW has opened a pandora's box, that simply can't be lid. The more they try to repress the more the outburst will be.

need of the hour - an ammendment
by AK on Dec 24, 2011 07:51 PM  | Hide replies

..in our constitution. Whys shd there be any law against so called "hurting the sentiments"..?? Sentiments getting "hurt" is a highly subjective matter. If someone is ultra sensitive and gets hurt on anything and everything thats said about his belief, whole country shd be gagged to protect his slender "sentiments"..?? And dont the rationalists have any right to get "hurt" with all those false preaching by the believers??

Absolutely right, AK. You can say anything about one certain M.K. Gandhi and get away with it. But say something about MGR, Ambedkar, Shivaji, Sambhaji, et al and see the reaction of the so-called "hurt sentiments". Things are going from bad to worse - the events leading to the Universities of Mumbai and Delhi recalling books/articles because they "hurt the sentiments" of a certain section of public are very recent to be forgotten.

Is India following the example of China, in controlling social networks. Kapil Sibbal seems to have been offended by some frank opinions by some citizens of India.

RIGHT TO "RE-CALL" & "REJECT" ARE THE ONL
by NITIN KURVE on Dec 24, 2011 07:27 PM

WE HAVE ONLY WAY TO CORRECT GREAT PROBLEMS IN THE NATION - "RIGHT TO RECALL & REJECT" CAN TREAT A LOT OF THINGS AND PUT SO MANY THINGS SO STRAIGHT IN THE NATION.

FIRST - CLEAR OUR LEADERSHIP, THEN CLEAR LOCAL GOVERNANCE AND EVERY SYSTEM.

Loktantra or Jok-Tantra: Just press a Button in 5 yrs ???
by NITIN KURVE on Dec 24, 2011 07:20 PM

When political bosses are turning town each and every interest of the people, they have right and the liberty to talk about an ultimate solutions to them.

they can share there thought, express their anger and lift up a ray of justice for them and the nation.

When there is no model of communication with elected representatives and the people get only one opportunity to elect him for 5 year by pushing a button or so, then where is a system to express in the nation.

It doesn't exist anywhere ?

Now when for the first time people are interacting and lively debating the facts and trying to bow their representatives to answer for creating and supporting the system people need, why it is troubling many of them ?!

If our Independentness and the Democracy has not given us the right to express and share our thoughts and only given us an electronic button to push and elect any party man who is not bound to answer us for 5 years after his election, then - surely we are living in a great Jok-Tanra and then we will have to restore it to our acceptable limits whatever the cost it may require well accepted by all.

by Pramod Kulkarni on Dec 24, 2011 07:19 PM

Courts are over reacting.

They have more better jobs to do but are ending up facebook, google etc.

This is disgusting. They are acting as though ours is a illiterate country.
