what does it mean, allow conversions in name of freedom?
by D S on Dec 24, 2011 08:29 PM

indians dont use the tactics of middle-east to use converts to target non-converts such as to rule and control business. Indian even shun hodoo radical organizations and political parties when they know they are being milked on faith.
what indians cannot stop is the use of word secular when it actually means communal.

In India, news of a case filed
by piri on Dec 24, 2011 03:42 PM  | Hide replies

in a Russian court seeking a ban on the Geeta has instantly hit the headlines in all sections of the media and has invited tens of thousands of postings, discussions and an immense lot of animatedly excited chatter.

In the Russian media, the filing of the case has not attracted attention at all !! This much is clear from a simple Google Russia search for news on the case !

And it is doubtful whether the news of the case will find many interested readers in Russia even if it is reported widely !! So much for the importance given in Russia for demonstrative religion !!

And it is not at all hard to see that few Russians would ever care if they are told that a case is filed against the Bibble (any version) in an Indian court !! For that matter, few Russians are likely to notice or care if they are told that in India, matters went beyond just filing a case against the Bibble and extended to an actual ban against the book !! They might as well turn around and confront those who provided the information with the surprised query whether India actually has courts and laws in place !!

Oh really - that surely makes them superior to us. Does Russia has court of laws? We dont care what Russians think about India. All we know is that this is a move from their fundamentalist right to subvert other re1igions and we do care, and let them know that we staunchly condemn any such action. A commie regime can ban all re1igions and there are no double standards -but ban the Gita to push out other competing religions. Why?

A small section of Russians appealed to their court to get the Gita banned. But the overwhelming majority of Russians did not come to know about it !!

And neither might they ever !!

That is the whole point !

What was Ottoman Empire or Turks Identity?
by Institutional Truth on Dec 24, 2011 02:02 PM  | Hide replies

How did Indians get these Identities like Wearing Turbans, Caps and growing Beards as a metaphor for baba's or spiritual leaders?.

How come Indians absorb or copy most of then Ottoman empire's insignia, Totem's as theirs own?.

Who tossed Hindu word before?.

Why does Hindi, Urdu , and Persian have copied jargon?.
