You are absolutely right. The question here is not freedom of expression but freedom of religion. The author is equating gold with coal.
India encourages Dalai Lama who is accused in China..India encourages all muslim journalist who wrote things against some belief in the name of religion...India to learn how to culturally manage indians...

Taslima and SalmanRushdie should have been given maximum protection in fact and the cowardSickularIndians failed in that. No religion needs any protection from citicism, especially the hateFilled desertCults.
People in Russia, China, Japan, US and Europe may or may not study Gita but by deed they follow it as evident from the work ethics of the makority. OTH Indians may believe, study and pray to Gita but dont follow its core message as evident from the shear laziness, lack of charity and shear scale of corruption.
