So whats you view Rajesh, Supreme court also asked TN, why TN allowed to go water level above 136 feet. Do you still want to raise water level to 142

mullaperiyar is a national security issue
by nambiar thomas on Dec 13, 2011 07:01 PM  | Hide replies

Mullaperiyar dam collapse will be like an enemy attack with atom bombs. Lakhs of people will lose their lives, livelyhood and the nation's land will be eroded to the sea.If the dam breaks and huge tragedy happens Pakistan, China and even America will be much more happier than Jaya or Vaiko or Kurunanidhi as they acive their aim without spending a cent or paise or without harming their images,. Indian Government shuold see this as a national security issue and must decommission this century old delapilated dam at the earliest. The defence Minister and Prime Minister should not live like enuchs.

Tension in Kerala-TN border
by Geethalayam Geethu on Dec 13, 2011 02:56 PM  | Hide replies

The Central Government's inability to make an out of court agreement on Mullapperiyar issue points to the fact that Indian political system has lost its nationalistic character. Regional parties have divided the nation's mindset on regionalism which is very dangerous. Attack on Kerala people in TN is so tragic. What a pity!

The CAT is out of the bag! Yesterday Tamil Nadu MPs made an unusual demand - hand over Idukki District to Tamil Nadu. Hidden agenda is coming out! I think Tamil Nadu is going extra offensive to put Kerala on the defensive by distracting attention on all irrelavant issues. Their withdrawal from a waiting to happen discussion is pointing towards their double standards!

Ha ha ha.... i myself am a native of border area of KK district!!!! have you heard of places like kaliyikavilai!!! marthandam etc.... All the people of the district are so disillusioned with TN now!!!! ... There has been no development work in entire district for last 50 years!!!!!

People here are able to get good health facilities and job opportunities only because Trivandrum is nearby!!!

If a referendum is held here 90% will want to be with Kerala!!!!!

you had this area for hundreds of years and never developed this area but illtreated the Tamil population. The Kerala police beat them and humiliated them for asserting their Tamil identity. People remember that too. So dream on.This area is the farthest from Chennai and it will get developed.
