hang those responsible

also those doctors and nurses and staff should be put in jail for life who ran for thier life instead of saving the patients.

No second thought on the management , builders, and the govt officials who gave the permission to run the hospital, all should be given maximum punishment, which will be a lesson to other hospitals running in similar conditions.

All those responsible have killed 89 innocent people, who came for treatment

why the hospital staff shoud be punished for your dirty salary to them. OR they security personal or are they have a share in the management? If they die will your bap help their family? Just for your dirty salary you expect thek to die! Are they poicemen/security officials/ fire fighters/ army to die? Under what law you can punish them? Neligence of their duty? Is fire fighting is defined as one of their duties? No! If the hospotal or useless govent remove them from the office they can get this type of job any where? It is not a govt job with pension etc. STop nonsence? You will not shed a penny for teh victims but you want other to die! This you will tell because you have an uncleaned teeth and mouth, and you can tell this with this type of mouth

Complete failure on part of Management of AMRI
by NaboKumar Chaudhury on Dec 09, 2011 10:55 PM  | Hide replies

This incident of fire that too in a Five star hospital is unbelievable. This brings attention of all management teams from TOP to bottom responsible for maintenance and functioning of Hospital.
The list can be enormously big, however my querries:
What about the installed fire sensors,
Fire fighting equipments, perosnal, staff etc the Hospital first responders, inlcuding Doctors and staff,
What about the evacuation plan that was sanctioned during creation of this Hosptial, was it reviewd at any point of time and so on,
How so many precious life lost, the actual number will increase with time.

The country will be now looking forward to Govt Of Bengal's reaction and action.

from every incident of this nature, the lessons learnt is very important for all and enact more tight rules and regulations and put them in place for all hospitals.
Lets hope that no such incident occur again in our country. Let the law be very strong and authorties should be empowered to implement in black and white and irresponsible people must be punished
I thnk Govt should review the fire safety issues for all Hospitals(both Govt owned and Pvt) and implement corrective steps immediately.

As a matter of fact in paper all are in place but Hospital

Hospital accident
by Ashwin on Dec 09, 2011 10:52 PM

Whether Hospital fire OR some other incident of common man's death, our Govt (All States & Central) wakes up only after death of Aam Aadmi. Even now, it is only the Owners OR the Doctor Owners who are punished but not the Municipal Corporation Officials who have permitted such a building to come up & also function. Unless those corrupt Officials are also terminated from service, including their bosses who have been snoring at the time of construction when safety norms have been violated. Also the people who have given Licence/Certificate to a building without satisfactory safety norms. Here Satisfactory (Safety) norms means "paying money to the higher officials" till they are satisfied. NOW WITH THIS INCIDENT, WHETHER MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA, STATE & ALL CENTRAL GOVT IMMEDIATELY ORDER OFFICIALS TO CHECK THE SAFETY NORMS IN ALL THE STATES & VILLAGES IN EACH STATE. I HOPE NOT BECAUSE THEY (OFFICIALS,IAS,MPs,MLAs & MINISTERS) ARE AVAILABLE BUT BECAUSE ALL OF THEM SOLD IN CLEARANCE SALE.

This is all result of corruption - either a fire safty inspector
by Shri Hegde on Dec 09, 2011 10:49 PM

paid to look the other way or a incapable fire inspector hired because of corruption. Every tragedy which could have been avoided is because of corruption at some level. So, we have to support Anna to bring a strong lok pal bill.
