Anna is only an instrument, what is vital is Masses are rising for their nation... This is for real. Pls do not think that this is about one-law only. It is about wholesale-political reforms (beginning with Lok-pal... electoral-reforms... etc.), which would change the course of this nation on upward-inclusive-growth trajectory. This is not TV-created. I have been going to Azad Maidan in Mumbai regularly since 16 August... You know, individuals from all walks of life are coming on their own volition, without any invitation. THIS IS REAL, People see Anna as the 'sole point of credibility in the nation' today. We should/can not miss this 'window of opportunity', where masses are wide awake... not in favor of any party but for their country.
There was a time those who joined politics served nation, at personal cost. Today, those who may not even earn a living through own efforts, earn easy billions through political-connects. This has to reverse.
Let us not settle for anything less than 'wholesale political reforms'.

Years ago, back when I was growing up in the village of Cherai, I heard the parable of the 'Sticks or the Onions.'
'A thief was once caught stealing onions from a field. The village headman offered him a choice of punishment; he could either chew and swallow fifty raw onions in succession, or he could take fifty whacks with a stick. The thief chose to eat the onions, but his stomach started heaving after eating just five, and he gasped out that he would prefer the beating. Five solid swishes later he yelled out that he would return to the onions after all. This went on through the day until the headman smilingly halted both punishments because the thief by then had endured both fifty onions and fifty whacks.'
I heard this story over sixty years ago, and in the six decades since then I have never thought anyone could possibly be so stupid. Until, that is, I returned to Delhi [ Images ] after a long hiatus to watch the gyrations of the UPA government.
The stick they face is the undoubted assault that the Congress must face should it stick to its guns, and present a Lokpal Bill with little or no output from Team Anna. That would immediately unite the Opposition, and perhaps embolden even those Congress allies within the UPA to attempt seizing the moral high ground.
Can you imagine Lalu Prasad Yadav's [ Images ] Rashtriya Janata Dal or A Raja's DMK solemnly castigating Dr Manmohan Singh [ Images ]? Do not laugh, it is quite possible.
Too much of news about Anna is boring. It is as if there is nothing happening in India other than Anna. I think it is time to move on to other things other than Anna. I stopped watching English News Channels because of too much dose of Anna. Very boring

Congress is paying for her sin to run the show by proxy.The sudden disappearance of madam has left them clueless & a person who simply sat on the chair of PM without ever taking independently decisions is now floundering & badly much to the embarrassment of entire country.

I suggest PM to sell the country to England or USA and run away to his madam.
This is applicable right from Corporator to PM. We have a different caste system in India than that of the past. An officer will not eat or sit anong with his peon. The politicains will not mingle with ordinary citizens and maintain the distance except on stage managed shows like Baba Rahul does with Tribes. This is teh reason Y our PM doesn't want to meet Annaji. According to him Annaji is a small man compared to this Greate PM of this Greate Democrazy. They are not humans living in this world. Like Rahul who is born, bread and living with People's money.!
