by Praveena Gowda on Aug 26, 2011 02:19 PM

After reading this article, one thing I got sure that not 3 or few idiots eat onions as well as sticks. It is more than 300 idiots who oppose the Jan lokpal bill will have both eat and get beat in coming lokasabha elections. I am sure I will not vote to the parties which are behaving more than dictators. They all ruin, they all ruin, they all ruin,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Real Rot Lies in the Society
by Anil Aggarwal on Aug 26, 2011 02:05 PM  | Hide replies

All over India, specially in Delhi, simple authowalas are asking Rs. 50/- or even more just for a distance of 1 to 1.5 km. Same is the case in Dehra Dun, Amritsar and elsewhere. Nobody wants to move by meters. But, there is no check on security of these junky vehicles. Same is the case with taxi walas and other street traders, who are sympathecally called as poor class of India. But, in fact, the seemingly poor are the most corrupt and they do not come under the govt. employee category. Who will take care of this unparallel corruption in public domain! If anybody is listening, all auto/taxis should be metered and must run as per meter rates only. Also, they must wear uniform and behave politely with their passengers, otherwise their licence should be widhrawn. Licences for all vendors, including barbers and veggie vendors etc. should be issued, only to ensure minimum standards of hygience and parity of rates etc. -not to control them.

While drafting a final bill all such matters should be taken into considerations and general public should be invited to make online suggestions on any such subject.

Govt. level corruption is a fact. But, It is only tip of the iceberg. Real rot lies in the society!

Are thieves the govt employee. No. But they have a deal with police the govt servant 50/50 share wherein the policemen has every details of every thieves. Rickshaw and taxi drives who are looting have share with public hawaldars, so all is linked to higher govt level, under whose mercy all such loot and corruption is promoted. If the higher level corruption is smashed automatically the lower level will vanish in no time due to alertness as some high authority is watching us for which he may claim his job in govt and license or vehicle in private.

If the lower level authority is caught in taking bribe the authority under whom he is working should also be made responsible for his negligence and ignorance and his pay should be cut to half for one complete year, and the authority under him should be suspended.

Do you know that these could be taken care by complaining to Police / Motor Vechle Dept... Alas, they would not do anything bcoz.... one get hafta from them and other get regualr income at regular intervels...
Now to rein in these the lokpal is being formulated.... so go and support Lokpal in general and Janlokpal in particular.
