FYI... now Karnataka scam came out through Lokyukta which is part of Lok Pal. Where Lok Pal investigate national level and Lokyuta on State Level. So support Lokpall and get benefited

Only eye wash, why not pass the following: 1. All found prime facie corrupt/criminal will be deseated first pending final equiry. 2. All crimina/corruption cases in one year time and civil in 3 years will be settled.Govt. does not have right to appeal if defeated in any court. 3. All govt. servants will retire on army pattern where a Jawan retires at 40 and Lt. Col. at 50. Indias 80% problems will be solved.

1. Deseating will not serve any purpose. Deseated candidates will make their wives, sons contest. 2. If the politician remains in power for 5 years and the case has to be solved in say 3 years. What makes you think that decision won't be influenced? 3. If you retire them early, you will only increase corruption.
instwad of this Jokepal bill, constitute a firng squad and send these corrupt officials(whoever it is) in front of this squad so that he/she could be shot dead by these squad. This will put an abrupt end to the corruption. No other ways are going to help.
we have no interest on this jokepal which bill cleverly prepared only to save gandhi family corruption .this time their image as CORRUPTION SYMBOL OF INDIA.
So, if I am a Minister , or Parliamentarian or Group"A" officer then I will have been subjected under enquiries under Lokpal with having with me opportunities for hearing for more than thrice during investigation and enquiries which is not recognised under existing criminal justice system. I will not be arrested under Lokpal . For other corrupt officer arrest is must. Is that not violative unser article 14 of constitution. At last , I have absolute support for Jan Lokpal Bill prepared by Anna Hazarre and their team. A single term opportunity of hearing is not afforded to the Complainant before sending him to jail under Lokpal Bill if his Complaint was not being substantiated and found to be false and vexatious. Is it not a law to protect the corrupt functionaries and to discourage the process of making complaint as the Complainant would be subjected for punishment for jail term for 2(two) to 5(five) years and with fine with Rs. 25 , 000/- to 2,00,000/- if complaint found to be false and vexatious under Section 49 of said bill without granting a single opportunity of hearing.

"Apart from that, they also felt the Prime Minister has to concentrate on vexatious complaints filed against him and he will not be able to concentrate on the national affairs." it is the stand of Government why the P.M.O. would not come under the ambit of LOKPAL. Today LOKPAL bill is not yet passed but How much Parliament and P.M.O. will work properly it is known to everyone. Most of days those will be suspended for undue grounds like allegations against Prime Minister and other Ministers. Apart from that , Government Bill on Lokpal will be violative as under said Bill Lokpal will be performing the duties as vigilence officer or police officer for trial under Prevention of Corruption Act. If, the corrupt will be amongst Ministers, Parliamentarians or Group"A" officers then through LOKPAL law he will be sent for trial before Special Judge Court , or otherwise through state / central vigelence team or police he will be sent for prosecution before the Special judge court. Difference is that the bill (Govt.) does not prescribe the power of arrest and detention in jail during investigation and enquaries of the allegations (complaint).
