today a world superpower is beng dictated by a criminal and rogue nation ....such is the irony of life ...a big and powerful king .... lost his crown for an ordinary and scheming woman ... whats new in this ? ...its been happening since time immemorial ...much older than oldest civilizations LOL ....

if americsn declare open hostility towards pakis then they will open their arms to chinese .....

HAHAHA ...you gullible public ..you know why chinese troops entered PoK ? .... because thats where osama is hiding ...and pakis wanted to keep off american drones away from PoK ...only way to do that is invite chinese...

one shot two birds ...that would put indians in tight spot too

strategic
by Wanderlust on May 01, 2011 10:49 PM

ofcourse we would have bought f-16s even though they are old planes ...we never care for pilot's life ....as if we care for those poor MIG pilots ...LOL .... fact is that americans were talking too loudly about strategic relationships ...

while obama and hillary say one thing...their other agencies talk something else...

headley was given access after much bickering that too in the presence of americans ...rana and headley should have been deported to india ...their mercy plea and all bullcrap was for gullible public .....

their supreme commander gives out open press statement that india should be off afghanistan as pakis are feeling insecure ... WTF ? ...pakis mess up with india using lankans, banglas,,chinese and india cannot warm up with anyone ? WTF again mr puttreas...

pakis were cry babies for indo-US nuclear deal ...well india slogged for years ...pakis get it on platter. china helps pakis and americans dont want to be left behind ...so they tell pakis that it can be extended to pak on certain grounds .... well within couple of years criminal pakis will earn what india slogged for years...

american control on india over kashmir issue ... chinese are already in PoK ...so pakis give hoots to americans if they want to walk off ....

so in the end the biggest chewwwtiyaaa are americans... their CIA wanted to fool the whole world and control it ...and unknowingly they themselves are being manipulated by others... if only they learned from indian wisdom..

let the old lovers ...american airforce engage paki air force firectly and bomb karachi .... oh well if you dont want to do that then why lip kiss india....we wont share a kiss with lips that is perennial stuck on that ugly godforsaken pakis who are nothing but a bunch of criminals ...who brainwash their kids into violence and have least respect to human values

i get a feeling these americsns too know only to act ...big dramatists .... india wont fall for mere media hogging speeches ... india is an old civilization ...and its common public may know nothing about govt. servants ...although they are corrupt dont underestimate their wisdom ...they know who is a good friend and who is dramatizing as good friend

one more thing
by Wanderlust on May 01, 2011 10:23 PM

on other notes ...americans are contemplating on offering pakis with drones ...what more ..their commander says india should keep off afghanistan ..we poured so much money and men into that country ...what more americans play cat on the wall on all issues concerning india and pak

on the other hand europe wants to regain its old control... it sees a good partner in india ...we share same ideas on islamic militancy ..unlike americans who are messing up with whole world europeans face direct threat from islamic fundamentalists like india.

what more... EADS has already setup R&D centers in india and want to share all development works... they want a transparent approach and ready to offer technology with india and their equipment is one of the best ...even eediot americans get many of their gear from europeans who are much ahead in research... by choosing european goods we wont be antagonizing our old and trusted friend russia who stood by us in every time of need.

what more ...how can we forget those american military fellows who still share fond memories of their paki friends ...and who wanted china to attack india in 1971....

*I did not hear American pilots getting killed flying F-18..*
-no one ha died piloting a eurofighter or rafale.
*Now India will have a huge problem in logistics in inventory control..*
-both EADS and Dassault have offered their engine for LCA. Besides if the indigenous Kaveri engine succeds the IAF will have a varied inventory anyway.
*Kickback allegations*
-Allegation of corruption surface after every deal and are mostly true. However in this competition, the plane were evaluated on more than 600 different parameters. All the participants agree the tests were tough but fair.IAF has promised to give detailed debrief to all participants, so any attempt to favour any jet would immidiately be detected.Besides Boeing and Lockheed Martin are no saints either.
*Atleast should have some sense of responsibility, could have purchased atleast 50% F-18*
-wouldn't that be contrary to the need to reduce inventory variation?
*America is openly supporting you for security council seat,it is providing employment to huge number of Indians*
-for every public statement in support of India's candidature,USA takes 2 steps that go against India being a permanent member. And the result of employing all those Indians is that american companies get huge cost reduction and consequently huge profits. So USA is not doing any favour to India.
contd..

*Performance of Mirage planes has come into cricism since long ago and the french manufacturer did not cooperate with India to upgrade them at reasonable cost.*
-IAF has been going gaga over the Mirage 2000 since the kargil war. In fact the original plan was to buy a lot of Mirage 2000.But since India did not make a clear commitment to buy them, the production line was shut down. Dassault knew that IAF has a great liking for the Mirage 2000 and therefore tried to get more money out of the Indians.

As far as the Eurocanards being superior to the others, this was confirmed by the US foreign affairs analyst Ashley Tellis, that purely on technical grounds,Eurofighter comes out on the top.Besides USAF is going to phaseout F-16 and F-18 in the next 20 years and replace them with F-22 and F-35.Since the primary customer is not longer using them, the manufacturer may not be that keen to supply spares for F-16 and F-18s.The eurofighter and rafale on the other hand are new inductees and will be in use for the next 40 years.

eediots
by Wanderlust on May 01, 2011 10:14 PM

to eediots of all measure ... i have to come time and again to instill sense into your dumbbb brainsss... if americans want to act cry puppyy or record this denial in their memory to get back at indians then it would be their own folly.

ofcourse their desire to warm up with india has to match in deeds...pouring billions of dollars into paki military coffers and offering them hitech military equipment to combat taliban which is laughable ...americans and pakis think the whole world is gullible.... its time pakis and americans come clean of their relationship ...friends or enemies ? ... after they decide we will see what can be done

ofcourse this is a strategic decision unlike what mr. chandra had put.... nobody cares for what airforce pilot says... ofcourse india is irritated by this blow hot blow cold strategy of americsns ...if those fellows think india on same lines as pak then they are wrong... let them know ...for all its corruption...poor economy and technologically inferior india is still an older civilization than whole west put together ...

"the wisdom in india is not corrupt nor its roots in human values" ....any,chewwwtiya who thinks otherwise can continue his ranting..

Hidden game of kick back
by om shanti on May 01, 2011 09:20 PM  | Hide replies

I did not hear American pilots getting killed flying F-18..

Now India will have a huge problem in logistics in inventory control..

Sukhoi has russian engline
LCA has American engline(GE 400)
Dassault or Euro fighter will have engline from another country..

Three jets, three different country sources, three different engines..

Atleast if it was F-18 engine would have been same as LCA.

If Sukhoi 35,atleast engine would have been from same country like the other Sukhoi..

Main thing is that if American jet is purchased, this con-mans mafia won't get commission,or even if gets commission from America it will be exposed by Julian Assange..

Dassault is famous for giving $200 million kick back to Asif Ali Zardari through swiss account in 90s due to which Zardari was sent to jail..

It is convenient to transfer kickbacks between european nations, therefore Italian mafia has shortlisted the above two european jets.

Atleast should have some sense of responsibility, could have purchased atleast 50% F-18,America is openly supporting you for security council seat,it is providing employment to huge number of Indians, what bullsh1t you talk of being natural ally?

Anyway, vision gets a back seat when kick backs come to the forefront.Rest other explainations are nothing but sh1tty talks, all that matters is the mafia raj..

dude...cool down...

do you know that when you purchase arms from usa then u have to sign a contract that usa can anytime inspect those weapons

do you know that usa policies are governed by stringent laws. tomorrow if india performs nuclear tests then usa will have to put sanctions on us. what will happen to the maintenance then

r u sure that critical data of the planes will not be leaked to pakistan. we cant trust mr obama for his anti india stand

these r just few points. it seems like u r on the payrolls of us govt

Purchase some jets, copy the technology, then develop indigenously.I did not say to buy all from America,a portion can be.

Main problem with con-party masters is that they are not making massive investments into research and development, manufacturing sector because if we have inhouse capability to build such jets, then there won't be chance of getting kick backs in arms deals, this is the main reason..open your eyes..

Why the concern for pilots' lives? Are F-16s also flying coffins like MIG-21?

Vague arguments to justify the deal!
by shivpujan on May 01, 2011 09:00 PM

Mr Chandra has ignored important questions and giving vague justifications. He should substantiate his claims of American fighter planes being inferior to French & European planes. On what basis he is making this claim when we are feeling concerned over Pak getting these planes which are considered very advanced technically and very deadly. Because Pak has these superior fighter planes, so is it not stupid arguments that we also should not have them and continue to have inferior planes. Performance of Mirage planes has come into cricism since long ago and the french manufacturer did not cooperate with India to upgrade them at reasonable cost.He is ignoring the vital question whether the deal provides for at least 80% of the planes will be manufactured in India with technology transfer by the French & European firms whom the contract is being awarded. There has been enough drain of money from this country and over dependence on forein suppliers in defence deals. China with much bigger budget is purchasing less defence equipments from abroad as they are producing it themselves. There appears huge corruption in defence deals in this country and the people should be vigilant now.
