anna hazare's anticorruption movement
by akela manav on Apr 09, 2011 09:35 PM

i am really proud of Anna for his selfless service and sacrifice for betterment of india and its citizens. i hope sooner or later, indian polity gets cleansed of ills and we may have an idealistic government.
in asking for an institutional all powerful anticorruption body whci can even question and investigate the PM and SC, i somewhere feel are we seeking for too much?? will this prove to be exactly opposite of what we had hoped for? coz entrusting such draconian power to any single body may bring about its ill effects too. it may work with its subjective views that too with impunity, at times some innocents too may get trapped in it, coming out of which may prove to be uphill task.. PM, SC, EC etc are very high placed constitutional bodies and keeping a watchdog breathing down their neck all the time does not sound good idea to me. yes, all MPs, MLAs, Ministers, all poloiticians, beaurocrats shall be brought under the ambit of Jan Lokpal but lets spare the respectable psts of PM, SC, EC ets from it coz challenging their integrity all the time can make the very foundation of democracy shaky..
thats all from me, thanks

All congress party members, and all members of minority communities should be kept out of the ambit of Lokpal.
Mr Prime Minister is an honourable man. Supreme Court Judges are honourable men. Election Commissioners are honourable men. Congress party men are honourable men. Congress party women are honourable men. They are all honourable men. -- So said Mark Antony.

Corruption,Social activist Anna Hazare and The State of India
by partha roy on Apr 09, 2011 09:03 PM

What an irony that an individual(Anna Hazare)need to go on hunger strike until death to press for a just demand of corruption free India which has been promised by many Govt.since ages, and some one finds him faulting.

Shooting Anna from behind
by bambooman on Apr 09, 2011 08:19 PM

u cannot say anything AGAINST corruption now, so u r aiming at the leader behind the movement and indirectly despising the movement, discrediting it. It is not monopoly of wisdom we are looking of in Anna...we only need his HEART. There wud be many like the writer, worried about people getting alert and proactive ! They are the vested interested parties in today's world of corruption !

You are not above the usual petty bureaucrat
by Yerra Burra on Apr 09, 2011 07:26 PM

Mr. Raman's true bureaucrat colours are coming out. "I am not prepared to accept ....": who is asking for your acceptance? "anti-corruption ayatollah"??? It is despicable that you used the ayatollah in this context. Many of us thought you were much better than the usual gas-bag, petty, jealousy prone and capricious bureaucrat. You are not. Your judgement and analysis in this case are pathetic.

WHO SAYS RSS AND BJP ARE COMMUNAL ?
by Arthur Freeman on Apr 09, 2011 06:20 PM  | Hide replies

WHO SAYS RSS AND BJP ARE COMMUNAL?

ITS PRIME MINISTER MANMOHAN SINGH (( BACKED BY SONIA GANDHI , RAHUL GANDHI AND THE CONGRESS-I PARTY )) WHO SAID THAT THIS COUNTRY AND ITS RESOURCES BELONG TO THE MINORITIES (( WHO FORM A LARGE PART OF THEIR VOTE BANK )) AFTER WINNING THE ELECTION THE SECOND TIME.

ATLEAST THE RSS AND BJP NEVER SAID THE THIS COUNTRY BELONGS TO HINDUS FIRST .

SO , WHO IS COMMUNAL – THE CONGRESS-I AND UPA OR THE SANGH PARIVAR CONSTITUTING RSS AND BJP.

ANY WAY, PRIME MINISTER MANMOHAN SINGH , BY SONIA GANDHI , RAHUL GANDHI AND THE CONGRESS-I PARTY HAVE PROVED THAT THOSE WHO VOTED FOR THEM ARE EITHER IDIOTS OR HAVE MADE A VERY BAD MISTAKE TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION FOLLOWING :
SCAMS UP ON SCAMS, LOOT OF NATIONAL WEALTH, CONSPIRING TO BRING INTO POSITION OF POWER THE CORRUPT AND TAINTED LIKE P.J. THOMAS AND THE LIKES

Was Mahatma Gandhee a real freedom fgihter or was he a british double agent who allowed the britisher to rule and loot trillions of dollars without getting hurt or killed using the dirty tricks???What about the treachery and low grade opportunism of our great mahatma gandhee, the father of the nation! It is time all hindus and all patriotic indians watch the greatest film ever made by great Satyjit Ray to tear the mask of wicked western looters and to tear the mask of our great freedom fighters who were fake and british double agents! How many hindus and patriotic indians have seen the film made by great Satyajit Ray relating to the Bengal Famine!During the second world war, the british looters and colonizers packed and sent millions of tonnes of food stuffs to England starving millions of hindus to death and the great film(ashaani sanket or distant thunder) by Satyajit foucsses on this himalayan tragedy or holocaust!

During the second world war, the british looters and colonizers packed and sent millions of tonnes of food stuffs to England starving millions of hindus to death and the great film(ashaani sanket or distant thunder) by Satyajit foucsses on this himalayan tragedy or holocaust! What is more the great non-violent saint or great freedom fighter mahatma ganhdee kept quiet all along when millions of hindus were being starved to death and it was this very same mahatma ganchee who asked all hindus and indians to support england in world war and this resulted in sacrifice of thousands and thousands of hindus, sikhs and buddhists in war too. After seeing the great film and after seeing india's pitiable state now as a slavish nation begging for help from western and british looters preventing indian slaves even to visit that country and preventing them even entering UK and Europe and USA,etc all Hindus will be forced now to weep now and for decades together too, is it not???What a shame, Majority Hindus and Patriotic Indians that you consider the fake freedom fighters and double agents as mahatma and nehru asgreat freedom fighters and father of nation, etc,What a Shame,85 crore morrronic, ennuch and brain-washed Hindus!
