He atleast tried and gathered ppl for freedom.Anyone can claim anything abt him.Its like spitting on sky.Even though Gandhi was not great atleast he tried something for the country. compare him to us who live and die everyday just for our own selves and our selfish needs day in day out.

it does matter because indian govt is not banning that book. Author like Amritya Sen are praising. On one side we give him a title of Father of Nation and on other hand we tolerate this sort of non-sense written by westerner.
