To comment on Gandhiji Bapu one has to become like him. Only Gandhi Bapu can comment on himself. I think he should spend some time at his ashram (Sabarmati).
These topics gets thrown only to divert the attention from the main scene. The government is mid of curruption muddle. It is thowing these topics through media only to get relief from the real issues. What difference it makes today if Gandhi was bi-sexual, multi-sexual, or straight? But ripping the cover off the face of the government in all the curruption cases does. The every day commodities are souring up all the time. Poor people are not getting proper two square meal. What this topic got to do with in todays life? Shame!

Any photo of Gandhi in his later years always has atleast two women in it. So he being gay is bit of a surprise.
But shocking thing is sleeping naked near grand children. Was he mentally sick??
And why oppose such books? As long as the printed is based on fact and has supporting references, why should facts be banned?
But to me this clearly reinstates my belief that Gandhi was an accidental Mahatma, more made by Nehru and Brits to suit their purpose than actual heroism. Gandhi was enjoying his normal life until the time he got thrown out of a train. And like any other ordinary citizen, returned to motherland after being humiliated in foreign land.

you said Gandhiji was a normalman, after he was thrown he changed. The determenation he had in his mind is what made him mahatma not his friendship with Nehru.
Almost all will never try to fight as he did against the RULERS.
Sex is not a crime. It is normal. What we should follow today is the Mahatmas values,his purity of soul,his courage. The Mahatma himself never hid anything.his life was an open book.
