Why only Kalmadi and Raja should resign?
Why Sheila Dixit, Jaipal Reddy, Manmohan didn't resign?

This type of vilification will provoke BC/SC/ST communities to seek autonomy from India viz Kashmir,Telangana,North Eastern States.

Fight corruption
by South Indian on Nov 22, 2010 08:38 AM  | Hide replies

BJP must put an end to their double standrads and fight corruption. They cant keep the most corrupt CM and pretend to be against corruption making noises. Congres is taking some actions at least. In fact no one was spared. Natwar, Ashok Chavan, Shashi tharoor, Kalmadi all got the axe. Now congressmen will think twice before ruining their political career. But BJP still hand in gloves with all their corrupt leaders. When Tehelka exposed rampant corruption, BJP chose to do a witch hunt on Tehelka, supporting corruption. This has to end.

Mega scam
by diwakar sharma on Nov 22, 2010 07:07 AM

There is no use of talking about curruption in general. The telecom scam is a ultra-mega- scam and is not comparable with any scam owing to its abnormal magnitude. It is estimated that 30% of booty has been shared by DMK; 40% by top leaders of Congress. Telecom area has always been prone to curruption and that is why DMK had been insisting on this ministry -- just for making money. Silence and inaction of Prime minister is intriguing and creating confusion.

how can u do it ?
by Jayaraman V on Nov 22, 2010 05:48 AM

1. reduce the procedures and make the RULES transparent and simple.
2. Hold the entire family responsible and ostracize the entire family even if one of them is held on a corruption charge.
3.Once the charges are proved, seize all his/her properties and wealth and send him to streets.
4. Be prepared to pronounce death sentences if the magnitude is huge, like the recent 2G scandal.
5. Also make sure no one is implicated falsely by political adversaries.

HOW TO STOP CORRUPTION
by sethu C. on Nov 21, 2010 08:56 PM

The points put forward by the Lokayukt is very much apprecated and they are good. But whoisgoing to impliment them? Tostart with one point canbe easily put intopractivce that is: any person implicated in any corruption case, wether the case is pending or confirmed by the court, he should never be allowed to stand for any elections. HIs name shouldbepublished in all news papers in all languages,so that the public should knowwhothisperson is and should boycot him or her. this is the best way tostop corruption tostart with.

We call ourselves very religious! We boast having birthplace of several religions, and yoga, Ayurveda (ethic based systems); we persistently and vociferously talk of "satya," "dharma," "mulye (value)," "sidhanta(principle)," and "ethics, moral values"! We have populace who expend most time for religious practice, rituals than any other in world! Then why are we among most corrupt (BEYIMAAN) in universe?

Law and Order at present is applied on illiterates, rickshaw pullers, road side beggars or drunkards or thieves. They are not just bashed , kept indefinitely in police custody or judicial custody not knowing whether they are represented or made to struck up there for good.

It is only thieves and prostitutes with power in disguise like politicians, theologists, factionists, judges and bureaucrats with a tag of VIP are never accounted for. Instead, these loafers are being remembered with statues, names of roads and buildings. Maximum, these loafers are being transfered to another department or a promise to be re-inducted later as a token of appreciation in corruption which is indirectly encouraging the corruption rampage.

Now, it has become a fashion in trying to evade , saying your antecedent leaders or government did the same dirty work to prosper and so does we. This type of attitude just fuels the spread of rampant corruption and will destroy the total essence of democracy.

Government should act on current including antecedents of same or opposition political parties to bring this menace of corruption to come to halt.

Unless, these top most bureaucrats, jurists and politicians are put in prison and made to go through lengthy and never ending judicial process, they will never understand the agony of normal citizens or lest make an effort to bring some reforms or revamp.
