"Sound as the pound" was a phrase coined, as it were, during the days of the British Empire. "The almighty dollar" might be the U.S. version of that sentiment, although it connotes a sense of the mercenary aspect of the American dream, along with the U.S. dollar's status as the world's reserve currency.
The American dollar's position has for generations been thought unassailable, but the war of words against it has increased as other countries have started to realize what the U.S. central bank is actually up to and how it will affect them.
Mr.Monmohan singh is the very meekest & very inefficient PM s India has had.Be it any issue he has no solution in his box.He is like a scape goat working under the bunch of UPA ministers.He has tarnished the image of Indian PM.Be it the CWG/2G scam he is just a rubber stamp candidate.Such useless persons good for nothing should never be elevated to such resposnible and honourable seats.Infact i feel the World is making a mockery by claiming him 18 th powerful man in the world.Shame on such useless and distrustful so called Mr clean. Manmohan singh was never an able candidate in Politics/Administration.
during 1991, if not for mms (of course under pvn), we wont be able to blog here..lets give full credit to this sardar for the globalization..but, lets us also point finger at him for his silence in major scams happening till day under hsi leadership..
hes a successfull finance min but a failed PM..he should immediately step down and hand over to some one..may be its a ploy of sonia to garner sympathetic support for rahul to be come the PM as teh paid media will always exclude teh royal family from the scams and say that if rahul had become the PM, these wouldnt have happened..

Well said. PVN is sidelined by congress to accmmodate the dynasty. This could be a ploy by the dynasty loyalists to promote Rahul. Our media will support this wholeheartedly. What a pity.

Ideal time for some like Rahul Gandhi to come ceter stage and take the Can,take responsibility and create a new order. New order for Transperant Rule, rule for ending Corruption at all levels , a rule for Reforms to create Checks and balances with huge detterents for Crime with speedy trials to bring the corrupt to book with least delat and above all discover all the loots and Catch all those responisble with their Kith and Kin all counting the bars. Rahul wake up and do it for the sake of Generation !
Most social welfare schemes are scams. whether it is cheap rice or free television. it is gift to party members from govt money. the family of ruling paty has monoplised the TV chennels . once i was travelling in coimbatore and asked the hotel barer about the TV scheme' his reply was Karunanidhi is giving TV from govt money and collecting cable rent for his family from us. you can understnad. last five years most of the govt schemes are scams . no development any where. we could have combine the rivers and solved water problem. people want flood to make easy money from flood relief. no higher educatuon for poor. all colleges are owned by politicians and they collect capitation fee.
My dear friends, remember INDIAN Law is 1 but have 2 version. 1 version for "common man" like us those law are straight forward. if u r corrupted for 1000 rupess u have to face jail. Another version is for politicians if u corrupt 1.75L croses or 75,000 croses of CWG or Land scam then the 2nd version of law acts, those law made only for politicians.
If one were to put two & two together, DMK supremo Karunanidhi visited Delhi a few months back and deducing logically, it was to warn MMS against taking any action against A. Raja. At that time, the survival instinct made MMS say yes to Karunanidhi and today, he is paying the price in full for dereliction of duty. I am glad we have a strong Supreme Court in India to lend a sense of objectivity and direction to government's functioning. Without the Supreme Court's periodic interventions, we would have gone to dogs long time back.
The 2G Spectrum Scam appears have been planned in 2008 to share the booty btw DMK and Congress for using the Money in 2009 elections.There is no doubt that our beloved PM knows all the facts and must have been carried out with instructions of his High Command.Subramanyam Swamy should drag all the people involved in the Scam to the court.A person like Satyam Raju admitted his guilt in the SATYAM Scam and sitting in the Jail. If our PM is realy sincere he should bring out all the facts and quit the Chair.
