well said... its easy to blame politicians. the nation will prosper manifold if only we can correct ourselves .... even if rich and politicians can eat away tax payers money...nobody can stop country from prospering ....if only we were a bit more sincere ...a bit more law abiding ....and a bit less hypocrites
PM did not assert himself and turned a blind eye to protect the corrupt minister. He has no right to continue as PM of India for letting down our nation so badly.

No meaning in making the PM alone a'scape goat'. Sonia and the entire coterie are responsible for allowing Raja to get away with such a big loot! The Congress like all other political parties want to cling to power and hence is willing to tolerate the misdeeds of their ruling partners in the name of 'political compulsion'. However I feel that Mr.Singh should have been more assertive and restrained Raja from commiting such a big fraud and if the High Command had intervened and acted in favour of Raja, the PM should have tendered his resignation, which would have enhanced his image in the eyes of the public! His resignation at this stage will not help him much! This a lesson to the clean Defence Minister Antony also. Though not corrupt, abetting corruption is equally bad!

and we go and blame police for all wrong doings...as if we are saints...

Just wondering that if a petty thief in the street is caught for stealing few hundred rupees and then put in jail and after that his crime is ascertained in the court then why Raja, who had cheated to the tune of hundred thousand crore, is still roaming in car with red light and enjoying government hospitality. Also, why Tamil Nadu people is electing such people. They should vote independents rather than AIADMK and DMK, if they don't have any good alternative 3rd party.

Singh never had any credibility. He was finance minister during Big Bull scam. That was a systems failure according to Singh. It is only because people have outsourced their thinking to the media that Singh is clean.

Even if we put in place a moderated democracy where universal suffrage is removed and only those who take an exam on issues are allowed to even vote, Indians will mess that up too.
What India needs urgently is a genocide of 40% of population belonging to the following communities:
a) the community of corrupt
b) the community of foreign copycats, brown sahibs and "sickular" thugs.
c) journalists and media-wale (who are modern day brahmins and who dictate what is right and wrong in society).
