Dead are ALL Bihari/Orriya/Bengali people
by Sachidanand Gupta on Nov 17, 2010 05:50 PM

This is ridiculously insane that so many people migrate to delhi/mumbai to live like RATS and die like RATS. well how many people really care about these people living in their neighbourhood like animals, wwhter they are able to make their end meets, weather they eat breathe or just any aspect of life, i see day in and day out few orriya/bohari migrant labour sitting working in my vicinity but never cared if a living being as human as me is breathing the same air created by nature. I have this firm belief that the resources here are for well beings only. these people are just for serving US. Humm yeah I know lost sesitivity on my part, can't help this can change only if hell looses out and hurts me hard to bring my sense back.

HANG THE GUILTY
by JOHN BHATIA on Nov 17, 2010 12:40 AM

India has to come out of sloppy work of Contractors, who are milking home owners bribing the State and Municipal Engineers and pocketing huge profit. Also most of the time they ad-on more floors without permit or permit in black. Like western Nations, India has to punish all these corrupt goons confiscating their assets and charging criminal cases agianst them. These goons are guilty of killing human beings and must be hanged for their crimes.

Eye wash & apathy
by mukesh sinha on Nov 16, 2010 11:16 PM

I have been following the news since yesterday. All, including the TV news channels, are busy projecting their work, first news/ coverage. Chief Minister doubles the compensation out of the public fund, rescue operations are over projected, building owner's arrest is hot news, harassed traumatised persons/ children are shown at the accident site, by the media repeatedly.

The immediate requirement is to:

1. Remove the affected personnel from the accident site thereby reducing their trauma & repeated exposure to the incident/ mutilated human remains & losing hope of finding the survivors.
2. Helping them with shelter, food, clothing, medical, sanitory & psychological support including the counsellor help. This arrangement needs to be provided for a long duration.
3. Their rehablitation plan.

The TV channels, NGOs & the political parties need to highlight these factors & the operations towards such measures. NDMA surely should be taking care of such issues which are not highlighted so far.
