by Hardik on Nov 09, 2010 01:27 AM

Hi, It is very sad that people like obama get more importance and coverage in india. We need to give this importance and coverage to indian good leader like Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar who really contribute for indian economy and india progress.

obama speech
by kalive mohanrao on Nov 08, 2010 09:51 PM

The speech is very dignified and practical one from a person like Obama.Let us not bother about raising Pakistan in his speech. WE should not be bogged down by petty issues like pakistan like they blame India for even coughing and pissinng. Let us move forward by providing basic amenities and a decent life to our people. If country progresses, people will benefit and that be ultimate aim of any political leadership. So, let us cooperate and develop to higher standards.

OBAMA & TAGORE
by Kabeer on Nov 08, 2010 09:47 PM

I have been watching all private English News TV Channels of India which are presumably for the urban class and are anchored and having in their panels some of the so called highly educated Indians.

Not one of them have pointed out that President Obama has mentioned Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore in his speech. These blokes cant recognise unless the name is mentioned.

That is how subtle the American speech writers and President obama are; when the president said :Where the mind is without fear and head is held high- he was referring to Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore's poem in Nobel award winning magnum opus Gitanjali
