Nuclear Deal
by Govind Lal on Nov 09, 2010 07:37 PM  | Hide replies

His admiration of nuclear deal is the path to proliferation of nuclear weapons. Read the news “Nuclear smuggling: Armenia arrests suspected supplier”. World is spending billions if not trillions for N_projects and its protections. How many security agencies & organizations are functioning to stop proliferation? By spending a few millions by unscrupulous men, enriched Uranium could be purchased from the smugglers. Very soon it will be proved that the huge investments made to stop proliferation will be a waste. How many agreements are signed -bilateral and multilateral? But what use? Enriched Uranium reaches the ultras. The visionary world leaders should think of ways to stop this proliferation and deviate from the present mode for the good of the world. By spreading the nuclear projects in several nations the probable weak points are increasing though which enriched Uranium may find its route to the terrorists. All these regulatory bodies will be just ‘PAWNS in front of a few millions which these ultras can pay. We know the story of Davood who arranged several equipments used in N_research for the Khan’s laboratory. As more and more Nprojects are built more and more smugglers will become millionaires.

Nuclear deal is a beginning of proliferation. The disposal of nuclear waste is a formidable job for which there is no proven technology. Is there any project that is completed within the scheduled period of completion at the projected cost? Then why should India be tossed to go with Nprojects? It is nothing but a clear effort to cripple the Indian economy.

Home work
by Govind Lal on Nov 09, 2010 07:27 PM  | Hide replies

He has done good home work on Indian civilization. He take lessons from works on Indian traditions and culture. He has a universal out-look and vision (personally) but doubt whether it will get translated into practice. Any initiative to colonize any nation by any means (such as globalization) is reprehensible. The policies at home to be reviewed. ‘Each nation should strive to produce their essentials within, tension develops when the nation produce for export which is not an essential for other nations.’
He did see India from the eyes of US. Globalization can/may vanish India from the world map. USSR is the proof. He speaks about the democracy here. Seems he is not aware of HORSE TRADING etc in Parliament. The UPA should realize that any regressive proposals that take India into debt-trap will not enhance the credibility of our leaders. They find it a safe path to plunder our wealth.

The Congress ruled India for more than fifty years. It is time time to make a stock taking.
Who stopped R&D in Uranium exploration? and when? Now India is signing treaties with foreign countries to import Uranium?
Who surrendered the sovereignty and freedom to foreign countries by signing the N-deal?
Who ordered to have Uranium based nuclear plants without ascertaining its availability for the life of plants?
Who wish to make India a junk yard of nuclear waste?
Who is planning to take MEGA LOANS for nuclear projects with cooked up parameters?
Who is signing treaties for nuclear projects with foreign countries taking India to a debt trap?
Who spearheaded the SEZ act and preaching forcefully for it? SEZ is the beginning of colonisation.
Google and read "Better shore up domestic uranium resources" and "A CAG report blames the Department of Atomic Energy’s poor planning and mismanagement for the uranium shortage". It is not too far when people involved in the conspiracy is brought to justice.
Who spearheaded the New Exploration Liscensing Policy and when? Google and read "Ministry of petroleum & natural gas resolution New Delhi, 10th February 1999".
Who initiated the GHAT negotiations and when?
Who arranged to sign the ASEAN FTA without the consent of his party and Paliament?.

Emerging and emerged
by Govind Lal on Nov 09, 2010 07:11 PM

The phrase ‘EMERGING is an inappropriate word. India was a flourishing country centuries back and by colonization it became rated as poor , though not poor. In reality India is a formidable power, accepted by all nations of world. Learn the history for the last four centuries. It was competitions between various colopowers to plunder India. Is it not a proof that India was a powerful country by wealth. Fact is that India did not colonize any nation. Unfortunately, incidentally, the present politicians make policies to colonize poor and weak nations to plunder their wealth. Are we not trying to sneek into the Uranium war which is a dangerous exercise.

Welcome the warm spirit of co operation!
by Raghavan Iyengar on Nov 09, 2010 06:57 PM

When our thoughts and deeds conform with the ideas of the Over Self or the God a blessing automatically descends. In the epics, great brains have figuratively called,"The devathas showered flowers" on such occasions. I love Obama - I have changed to admire this welmeaning young leader.

Read carefully what obama said before comments
by vijaya kumar on Nov 09, 2010 04:23 PM

Was it really an endorsement by Obama? It didn't seem like one. Firstly,he said in the years to come he would like to see a reformed UNSC which includes India. Also it came with conditionalities like India's behavour over the next 2 years as a non permanent member of the UN its policy towards Burma & Iran, oblivious of the fact that its own policy towards the Dalai Lama & Tibet is questionable.& what about it policy towards S Arabia? Even its support to Pakistan is suspect as democracy is a sham in Pak

USA has fool India
by manoranjan singh on Nov 09, 2010 03:26 PM

What we gain from USA Visit

USA has removed sanction on technology transfer related to defense. But they are done in intention since they needs it to sell to India. So this is not any favor done by India.

They have voice for permanent seat in UNSC council but they are opposing the move to reform in UNSC.

But India have done great favor. India will now going to buy many defense equipment that will proved job opportunity to American. We will open our market for retail sector so that many company like wall mart will enter there.

We are happy that Obama has praised the India and said superpower, developed country etc and we think that It is major achievement without considering ground reality of India. Whenever USA president visit India as businessman and gain whatever they are expected and by giving false ego to India

Obama's speech in Parl.
by ramakrishna seetharaman on Nov 09, 2010 11:39 AM

We learn that a Cong MP presented a Mala costig about Rs4.5 lakhs to President Obama. They should have invited Ex-Speakers of LS also, likeex-Presients ofIndia and esp,Somnath-jee would have whisphered to Prez Obama how to 'rig' elections in the US. as he was only responsible for passing the Nuclear Bill by converting"noes' into 'ayes'.! God save the counry.

Separatists & Paki happy with Obama's Kashmir talk
by vijaya kumar on Nov 09, 2010 10:53 AM

Backing India to the UN seat is a placatory gesture that will, at the very best take years, even decades to fructify, by which time it will be of no use. Delayed justice is no justice. Obama, on the other hand, by referring to the "problem of Kashmir" has silently acknowledged Pakistan's claim to Kashmir. By his speechObama admitted that Kashmir is a long-standing dispute and needs to be solved and in that way Obama supported Kashmiri separatists and Pakistani approach to Kashmir. India has not been aggressive enough on this issue. There IS NO "problem" in Kashmir. If there is a problem, it is that Pakistan overran Kashmir in 1947 and still holds the majority of that great land. India should make aggressive claims to that land that is "Pakistan Occupied Kashmir". India should needle and barrage Pakistan just as Pakistan is doing now, routinely breaking peace by firing across the border. India needs to grow up and realise that "Niceness flows from a show of strength" and the lowlier the person the greater and more crude should be the show of strength
