And whose fault is that,
60 0million children are locked in Child labour.
These 60 million are not going to get any schooling or education of a kind.
some who turn out to be a bit intelligent may open a shop etc others will stay laborers and will be classed poor.
It is these people through no fault of their own are the one who earn less the Rs @0 a day.

Rebutt Kirit Parekh Report
by Rajesh Chheda on Jul 05, 2010 05:03 PM  | Hide replies

Someone ought to come out with objective report rebuttal of Kirit Parekh Report which caused the rise in hydrocarbon prices and inflation caused due to rising imput price of energy:-

1) Cost of petrol/diesel/kerosene/lpg in various countries. INDIA IS HIGHEST PRICE.

2)Price break-up to show that first govt levies abnormally super high taxes on the products then tells oil marketing companies to sell below the hiked price and tell people that the products that hey consumed are subsidized.

3) Total taxes collected by various govt bodies central/state/local/octroi on every rupee spent by consumers on various products.

4) Amount of hydrocarbons consumed by governments central/state/local/police/defence/psus. Without a doubt govt is biggest consumer of petrol and diesel.Possibly around 60% of all that is consumed. RAISING PRICES MEANS PUTTING MONEY FROM ONE POCKET TO ANOTHER FOR THE GOVT AND CHARGING MORE TO CONSUMERS.

5) How can a 10% hike in petrol and 5% hike in diesel lead to price of food essentials like vegetables, oils, grains, pulses and sugar rise by 30% to 100%? WHO IS POCKETING THE DIFFERENCE?

6)The country must use hydrocarbon resources efficiently and cut down on waste but raising prices makes rich richer and poor poorer.

PLAY OF CONGRESS UPA-II GAME STARTED NOW
by pala on Jul 05, 2010 05:00 PM

There is no impact with such BANDH etc. there should be strong protest / entire nation stand still situation should come than only This bloody CONGRESS- UPA-II will be wipe out permentally. Otherwise there is no way to this government. Now he is getting support from USA and he become slowly more power full.

It is ideal all the opposition including Communist should unite without any ego to join with BJP. You are working for Poor people if you want to real help for poor person. It is sure if this government will stay till 2013 than many people died without any food and more people become below the poverty line.
The problem started when they way off Rs. 70,000/- crores for farmers but actually it was benefited for FATTY PEOPLE. LIKE SHARD POWER, LALU, SHARAD YADAV AND MANY CONGRESS MPS those are filled while filing the nomination paper during 2009 lok sabha election. It was meticulously by UPA-I so that maximum MPs will benefited. It also know factor all the MPS have benefit if you are showing agricultural land ‘ NO NEED TO PAY INCOME TAX’ on agriculture land. This is the reason this was bring and all the big farmers are benefited along with small farmers also.

u r really confused. With the doctor giving us lies worse than statistics as a cruel joke on the aam admi with the support from subservient media, it was only incumbent upon the opposition to make a loud and resounding country wide protest. The ruling elite are hand in glove with the most corrupt media to amass wealth in every possible way at the cost of the por common man. Time has come for the people to rise. Hope, success of the bandh would lead to mass agitation to stop the shameless loot.

Rule for a Bandh
by Vijay Bhaskar on Jul 05, 2010 04:58 PM

Any political party or Parties at the nation level or at the state level should pay at least Rs.100-5000 crores/day towards loses in the Supreme Court of India debited to RBI before declaring a State Bandh or Bharath Bandh.

This should be made mandatory. You cannot run India like this.

Congress Rapes Indian Citizens with Price Rise
BJP parties rape Indian Citizens with Bandhs.

Looks like these political parties have no work. Why not we give them some food?

If people reduce their luxury life, what will these political beggars' do? Their super deluxe luxurious activities and outings are alarmingly increasing day by day without any limit, along with the prices. Why should only the people reduce their luxury activities?
