BJP should devise methods to protest without any damage to Public Property. Let very innovative ,cost effective and very easy to implement mode of protests be thought of as BJP is a very Senior Party vis-a-vis other Chhotu and not-so-elite Parties. I do not expect BJP to cause inconveinience to Genarl Population ,but they must be able to communicate thier concern so well that all people affected by that concern must only look for BJP to resolve thier issues .This would eb a very stupendous Victory over Congress which is generally a party of illiterate ,corrupt and ruffians. Let BJP Brasnd image be taht of Socailly respponsible party,with National Interest as its main agenda. Thanks. Jai Hind.

not saw any normal people in bandh.. all are political parties and their chamchas following it. normal people sitting in home or driving on road.. no one is marching with them... and bandh should b democratic process not dictatorship kind.. as party focing people to shut shops and establishments and not allowing any public tranpsort.. so its not atall people movement

All BJP and Left ruled states should bring down the sales tax on petroleum products to match rates in Pondicherry where petrol is RS 48 per litre then they have a right to call for a strike where they dont need goondas[party cadre] to enforce with threat of violence. People will support on their own

UTs work like that...they are ruled directly by the center!!!! when delhi was a UT, even it used to get subsidized liquor, petrol, food, etc etc etc etc etc....so dont compare states with UTs!!!!

By the way, is Pondichery is a Union Territory. I thought they have changed this, Pondichery, Delhi and Goa are states now.

If we all support bandh that means the price will rise more not reduce. It will have a additional burden on indian economy and we loose million / trilliion of dollars due to this. Bandh (Strike) never helps any nation to grow economicially. Just sit and have a thought on this all readers and indian nationals.

my dear ambilikkai, you first sit and think, by not protesting, how much more money you have spent on fuel, after the price increase on petro products. and then, you also calculate, how much more money you have spent by way of increased prices, due to spiralling effect, you will know how much the petro price rise is costing the country. if you are advocating that we should not resort to bandhs, i presume either you are one of the dumbest human beings produced by india, or, you must be a petrol pump owners.
