The world may have never heard of Winston Churchill again, if it were not for the mendacious foul play by the Germans in breaking every peace agreement which they signed. However, his democracy was the rule of the privelged. His disdain for workers and their demands made him an admirer of Mussolini. So much for Britain's great savior from the claws of fascism!
Between Churchill and Hitler, Churchill stands out as the brave, upright democrat. Only because Hitler, in comparison, was a compulsive liar and a barbarian.

in general, the Britishers had a dislike for everthing Indian; further aggravated by the fawning & worshipful behaviour of the Indians who thought of the whites as their redeemers. Having a jaundiced view of the Bharatiya culture & mesmerized by the British way of life, they were ready to throw their ancestral values to the winds without discrmination. Indian historians of the free India continued to glorify British & Moghul rules, glossing over their atrocities, and meekly accepted the British version of Indian history and perpetuated. Madhushree's work stands out in stark contrast in this bleak scene of Indian history. KUDOS! WE EXPECT MORE SUCH CONTRIBUTIONS FROM YOU.

Excellent Comment,Subramanian R.But remember our news editors and media barons are still under the thumb of the western crooks and their dirty tricks too with some rare exceptions.
Churchill's hatred for Indians was well known. But he could stoop so low is really disghusting. He waas a person suffering from false superiority complex.I wish his name goes down in the history as the biggest butcher alongside hitler, stalin etc.

Churchill did what he did, for famine in 1943, being the ruler of India & also while he had to also handle WW II and as Gori Chamdi Saab, he could have done anything. In all probability Vivek is a product of one of South Bombay's trashy, self-styled "elite" schools which are efficient at turning out self-loathing white-a*se lickers. Most of these people eventually migrate to the US, and fill up some unimportant job. Their hatred of all things Indian, being inculcated in them from a very early age, never leaves them.
In short, there is little point in reasoning with people whose antipathy of India is the sole motivation for their existence.
