What churchill practiced has been criticized, that was pre-independence, what do you think sharad pawar is doing, saying that the poor cannot be given free rice. Is it his father's property. What about the thousands of farmers that have commited suicide in vidharbha region. How different is he from churchill. Our indian common man has not changed pre-indenpendence or post independence that is why he suffers.

We indians area emotional lot, that is why politicians like sharad pawar get away, How much sugar is being siphoned off by the sugar lobby is not known to the farmer in the sugar belt. If he is given @kg's of sugar, he will not support his brother. These people deserve nothing but suffering as they are greedy in their own way.

Is it his father's property.
NO IT IS NOT HIS FATHERS PROPERTY NOR ARE THESE SO CALLED POOR ENTITLED TO IT.
IT ALSO IS NOT THE FATHERS PROPERTY OF THE POOR.
As for farmers committing suicide again it is t=not the responsibility of the government.
These people can't sustain farming any more they =very well know that they can't live from land any more yet they refuse to sell ( they have this mentality that land is their forefathers property and they can't get rid of it) and do some other business.
These people try to work land still with ancient ways. and borrow cash that they can't pay back.
IT is not any ones fault except the farmers alone. it is high time they move with time.

well the stiff upper lip has turned into cowdung. and what a fall. it was a well known fact in 2nd world war that the quote 'blood sweat & tears' meant the blood, sweat and tears of the brownies and no white skin would be willing to go the full length. in fact how many whites were there? the brit armies contained soldiers from all third world countries, who died so that the brits could keep their stiff upper lip. n now it has got socked!

WINSTON CHURCHILL
by Santhebachahalli Chandrashekar on Dec 04, 2010 08:50 PM

I read a review of Madhusree.

She has evidence of Churchill's ill will in the massacre.

Then, how different is Churchill from Hitler?

Sad. Sad for the British hypocracy.

1943 Famine
by ranjan mitra on Dec 04, 2010 08:46 PM

It was not known that Churchhill was the prime culprit that resulted in the 1943 famine in Bengal, till I read this article. But it is also a fact that, the ministers of our country have mastered Churchhill's tactics in creating a man-made famine.
