Indians do not know if Pak..............
by SUDHIR PARASHER on Dec 02, 2010 10:16 AM

No body to trust Pak as nation and its people.
Suppose they drop atom bombs on Indian cities(few). In that case Indian govt should bomb whole of Pakistan and Decimate it once for all. They will destroy some of our population and places(we are big enough). We will have the satisfaction of removing our headache permanently.

I guess this is how the American embassy should have told. Might be wikileaks error, they did not add "Chamcha Congress" name in the last.

How can you expect our spineless and gutless PM along with his corrupt cronies to face, at least what Yankees have said is right, these is down line right. Also we must not trust the Yankee even 1% these a.s.s.h.o.l.e.s are one of the very selfish and will go to any extent to get what they want.See this shameless woman Hilary Clinton....this is the example, let us stand up to the world on our won strength, they are already getting into the begging bowl, let make them beg.

We missed the chance to teach them lessons
by Passed on Dec 02, 2010 02:34 AM  | Hide replies

26/11 was a perfect opportunity for India to retaliate against Pakistan on the proxy war it has waged on India from last 25 years. It is sad to see a weak government being in the center when such an attack took place.

The whole world was with us on this and we could have taken this opportunity to a decisive end, but we do not have any leader who have the guts to stand up and say enough is enough and now we have to put an end to it.

Alas, our chance is missed and now either we keep living like that and wait for another incident.
OR
We can go ahead and throw out the weak leader in power to where they belong...the Kitchen with some bangles in hand.

We had exactly a 48 hour window - we missed it. Whole world was shocked, Pakistan was under tremendous pressure and we had all the momentum. We missed it because we have no accountability in this country, we had no one person to stand up and make a decision. Instead we debated and debated, and then ended up with a prime minister crying in front of the whole nation. Unless the country produces strong leaders or writes doctrines that will be blindly followed in case of an emergency India will go nowhere.
Major powers have all well defined and published doctrine. If there is a nuclear attack then nobody sits and debates or takes a vote, they act according to what is in the doctrine. The cold start is one such doctrine. It is defined and published. No matter who is the PM, no matter what others say if certain parameters are crossed immediate action will be taken without any reconsideration. The country needs to prepare and prepare to implement cold start with lethal efficiency. There are three parts to it - definition, publication as deterrent and execution, all three components should be managed with great care and attention to detail.

from wikileaks
"The Cold Start doctrine was announced in April 2004 by the BJP-led government that was replaced shortly thereafter by the Manmohan Singh government, which has not since publicly embraced Cold Start."

Are you serious?
by Guest on Dec 02, 2010 01:47 AM  | Hide replies

This is BIG leak? This is BIG news? Come on. India always has the capacity to punish Pakistan and even Pakistan knows it. But India retaliating will be more surprising than another 26/11 happening. If Indira Gandhi or Rajiv Gandhi were around, you bet everybody on earth will take this "Cold Start" damn seriously. As history has taught us, it is not the policy but the leader who determines a country's destiny.

I like it.
Very true.Leaders decide a country's destiny. MMS is a great person.Very talented but not a good leader.I am not a BJP Man.But would like to see Narendra Modi at the helm of things. We should accept that atleast he has the courage to speak his mind. And of whatever I have heard from him, he indeed has a CLEAR mind.

If Indira Gandhi or Shastri were around, these Pakis would have got their a.s.s kicked nice and strong, what we have is corrupt corrnies, Even I think the Pm is corrupt, silence speaks it all, why cant he take action, they cant because they have shared the booty from Raja and Kalmadi, so how can he open his mouth.
