here are some key points: 1. From the situation, both Modi and Tharoor are culprits. Given the current scenario, Tharoor has been made a scape goat, while Modi will probably survive, bcz he has strong political backings than Tharoor. It short it is doing injustice to the injust.
2. Both Modi and Tharoor are equally corrupt. Happy that Tharoor paid the price. Its Modi's turn now.
3. Just bcz you are an IPL fan or you like the franchise, doesn't mean that you should support the corrupt behavior of the person involved. Either you can be an Arjun or Karan ie. either do the right thing or knowingly do the wrong thing bcz you are debted.
Seriously speaking..it takes a lot of courage to come out in the open and accuse someone who has done a lot of good things too, but is also corrupt. Currently, we Indians do not have such courage. We believe in a debt system, we believe in the selfish, hypocrite system of being grateful. That is the reason why these politicians survive. All you have to do is please one community and do harm to everyone else and then the small community will always be indebted to you no matter how so ever wrong you may do - living examples are jayalalitha, mayawati, thakery and so on...
unfortunately, this will not change for a long long time...bcz such courage is not easy to find.

To punish Modi is not in hand of PM or Sonia or Parliament even. To punish Modi there is a need of proper inquiry in his business and dealings and he can be dealt with all the existing laws for financial wrong doing, betting, black money laundering etc if found guilty. No one other than BCCI governing council can say Modi to step down. BCCI governing council is also not out of doubt either but thats another story.

He was just a straight guy. He doesnt know the dirty politics. Being a minister he could have got away easily but he resigned. He doesnt know cheap indian politics. Its a 3rd class country.

well he knows enough to understand that helping out a frnd to make a cool 70 crores by using his name is wrong. So much for his straightness and high noble ideals. He was trying to make money for his frnd and got caught...that is what is straight. Agreed there are bigger looters...but that doesnt make him a saint either.

two negatives dont make a positive. Modi maybe corrupt too...but that doesnt make tharoor a hero either. get the logic? when u are caught dont try to point fingers to take eyes off you. we are not stupid.

He tried to get away but he was sacked. He categorically denied in NDTV interview to resign. But once fact were getting clearer and when PM was informed about the facts he had to quit-there was no other way. But even then he tried to resolve the matter by asking Sunanda to surrendering her equity. But that couldnt save Tharoor. He acted cheap and he knew cheap politics better than many new comers.

Sunanda surrendered her equity because she would go to jail for that without tharoor backing her up. And it was obvious tharoor was losing his job.
THE EYES WERE WIDE SHUT, THOUGHT HE COULD GET AWAY WITH THIS, BUT WAS CAUGHT VERY EASILY. GOD KNOWS WHAT HE DID AT THE UN FOR SO MANY YEARS. NO WONDER HE WAS IGNORED FOR THE UN CHIEF POST.

Today's news is that Tharoor's greed for 700000000 cost him his job. It is not for us to choose. Maya and Laloo's day will also come. If Tharoor's day came out of turn, it is not anybody's fault.

Thats a very disgusting comment. Be a human boss. Do you have a sister. Sure you have a mom.
stop watching IPL.This is all fixed, There is so much money only because we waste our time to watch this game. All the money goes into wrong hands, and is used back against our country.
If you really love cricket, from a small team and buy a bat and ball and start playing, where ever you can.
This is the last effort by Tharoor's PR machinery to salvage his sinking political career. These kind of paid news and fake support will only make public more angry against this traitor.
