well if he was not a yes man then He should not have repeated meetings with Madam and MMS. He simply should have put his side of story infront of people without begging to continue his position in the cabinet.

Yeah. That was you being some pre-independence patriot who gives a nickel for your position or chair. It looks good in movies and on you tube but in real life - we always reckon these things AFTER THE FACT.

We have tainted ministers in all parties.
This guy became victim of dirty cheap indian politics.
If we keep loosing guys like this and keeping persons like Maya and lalu then india will always remain as 3rd world country.

The First thing ST did as soon as he became minister was he made the govt pay a huge sum to 5 star hotels... from there till now... had he been come in the media or newspaper for any good reason..... Guess he might have been shown the door from UN too as the PM had done after a long time... unable to withstand...

He became victim his own medicine, Twitter. He should have stayed away from IPL and Sunanda or atleast from either one of them. Others are tainted ministers that doesnt give any extra leverage to Tharoor. UPA's previous govt had 5 tainted ministers and 3 of them were facing murder charges.

Lalu and maya may not be good.... but also that Tharoor definitely not gentleman..... He should have offered resignation when he first created embrassing situation for SM Krishna. He is shameless guy with 100% vested interest in minesterail position.

Why should BJP kickout? Bangaru Laxman accepted 1 lakh rupee and BJP immediately removed him and till date he has never been seen in any party function or with any party leader. While Ajit Jogi, Sajjan Kumar, Tytler, Kamalnath all are very close to Sonia and some of them are ministers too.

lol. If you dont find any genuine arguement drag Narendra Modi. Modi is not a liar like Tharoor and doesnt work with Proxies. He openly suggested business firms in Gujarat to go and bid for IPL-ahmedabad, Adani went for Bidding but he did not win. After that there is absolutely no controversy about that.

Double standard should be stopped.
by Shaji on Apr 19, 2010 10:14 PM  | Hide replies

It is the starting of new era of Indian politics. Money bags & crooked politician can not fool the citizen much longer.
Political parties should realize the people feeling & should start promote to non-corrupt and pro-poor people as political leaders.
Ruling party should not keep any corrupt ministers whether they belong to congress or it's ally.
Double standard should be stopped.
