Though the Delhi High court had given its judgement on some of the cases in 1996 itself it was still too late, justic delayed is justice denied.

A delay in once case does not mean others should be delayed too...what kidn of a argument is that?

Why does everybody forget 1984 riots
by spectratrade on Apr 02, 2010 04:34 PM  | Hide replies

Why their is no news about the same. If Modi is CM , Tytler and Sajjan chammar are also enjoying best of the life. Just because congress organised riots and people in question are just 1% of vote, anything and everything can be done. Hang Modi anytime you want but also hang the people responsible for 1984 riots, so that their are no riots in india ever.

Right to Recall President and Governors
by Praveen Goud on Apr 02, 2010 04:24 PM

If CBI is made autonous and directly report to Supreme Court, Supreme Court and High Court judges are appointed by President who is usuall the prior political candidate of ruling government whose past loopholes are already been trapped by the ruling government.

Never in indian history any judge of supreme nor high court been impeached. No law to punish the judges if they give wrong judgements too. Never in history, no president is recalled as he is usually a puppet of ruling party.

If CBI is made autonomous that too accountable to/under spineless supreme court with bunch of brokers who consider themselves virtually honourable and dont dare to come under RTI nor take steps for speedy trials, CBI too will become another slavery autonomous state controlled department indirectly.

We need Right to Recall the executive heads namely President and Governors anytime by people to address the wrong people being installed by President and Governors to run democratic system smoothly with peoples confidence.

law & religion
by Jayaraman V on Apr 02, 2010 04:22 PM  | Hide replies

so much is said about Raghavan. similar statements can also be said about Modi and his honesty & integrity. So what is the author trying to portray ? More than all this, the Congress should have 'honesty and integrity' in closing the Godhra case first, before bringing in any investigation about post-Godhra riots. While the former is rotting, the latter riots are being investigated and pursued with so much vigour. All this is being done for dissuading honest people like Modi from undertaking any development agenda for State and restraining terrorism in Gujarat. How come the public and media is allowing Congress to make this kind of mistake and getting away with it ?? Ulterior motives and personal agenda against Modi only, right ? Will this angle also be investigated by SC and SIT, with due diligence ?

you are looking through a narrow vision. Gujarat does not belong to only Patels ! There are so many other peoples there as well !! Please look carefully at the list of army people and you will certainly find some.
As for them leaving for overseas jobs, most of such people can be found in Kerala and not Gujarat. Even Keralites cannot be termed as non-patriots, please !

May I tel you Gujarat was with Maharastara and later got separated from it so there after Army never had such law of bringing state wise battalion so Gujarat didnt have ist own. Now Just go and read what Sardar Patel told to Muslims of India when they asked for seat after independence, which no one else can dared to say also.
Rest al is your own hypothesis, just tell how may Indian are employed by Ambani's shows that Gujarathi has generated job for that many peoples.

IN INDIA LAW IS AS PER THE RULING PARTY
by atul on Apr 02, 2010 04:18 PM

Fairly dissappointing but very true that in India law is manipulated byt the reling party for there benefit. once in power they try and balme the opp for there corrpution and misdeeds and when the opp sometimes comes to power they do the same.
And what is the result they hardly care for the real problem that the common mass is facing. Well do we have hope? NO ABSOLUTELY NO, its going to create further dissappointment if we think that things will change.
