Marathi should definitely be the preferred language in the state assembly but looking at the cosmopolitan nature of Mumbai, Hindi should also be allowed. Raj Thackeray himself said that he is a great fan of Amitabh Bachchan. That means he watches Hindi movies in the confines of his drawing room. Then why this hypocracy. He himself said a Hindi dialogue from the Bachchan movie Amar, Akbar, Anthony when he defeated SS in the Lok Sabha election.

Abu Azmi should understand that English has been in India for more than 200 years and almost all technical and other education are taught in English. It is no more forein to mour land. If Indians are shining in world level it is because Indians are very versatuile in English.Peoiple like Azmi are obstructions to the progress of our nation.
