we owe to both,'jamabhumi'ie place of bith and 'karmabhumi'ie where we stay.he is both indian and british/american as the case may be.but let us say without being mean-CONGRATULATION
I did my Ph.D. at Annamalai University. My guide a well known geneticist was also Dean of the Faculty. He never used the official car. He would cycle to visit his experimental fields in the morning. The set an example by leading a simple life but they were Jambavans in their field.

This article is sponsored by Hero cycles. becoz he rode a hero cycle he won a Nobel prize.
Guys, he has not got the Nobel doing something in India or as an Indian citizen. He was born in India but migrated to US for his studies and got scholorshp in the UK, so whats the point in we Indians being proud of? We should be ashamed that our universities doesnt generate one such person for decades.
