Cheers to all congressies. BJP already dead. CPM will be no more in Kerala and WB by the next State Assembly elections of these states. SP is already loosing. Rahul baba will kick out BSP from UP by the next Assembly election of U.P. Remaining regional parties will die sooner or later. Then we have only congress party with no opposition party. It is good for the nation. Rahul Baba can rule India for another 50 years and will remove poor and poverty from India. Jai ho congressi.

South Indian India is a superpower with No.1 in crorepathis and poor and 80% people below povery line struggling to eat Dal roti at least one time in a day. Also No.1 with 80% LS MPs are crorepathis.

YOU DEFINITELY DOES NOT LOO LIKE POOR BUT CERTAINLY COMES IN THE SECOND CATEGORY
We dont expect Rahul Gandhi to win seats from UP the next day he start working on it! It will take time and Congress is doing the right thing in UP. The impressive show by Congress in Ferozabad is a morale booster. It shows where it is heading. Congress is replacing SP as the main opposition to BSP. BJP is nowhere in UP, except in one or two pockets.
Congress without a proper organisation, will find it difficult to counter BSP in a short run. BSP has dedicated workers and strong vote bank. But once Congress acquire critical mass (upper csates and Muslims are turning back to Congress), BSP vote bank will also find an affinity towards Congress. And Congress with Rahul's firm resolve will reach that critical mass soon..

not any majority minority.. indians irrespectie of their religion, caste, creed, education, vote congress.. It is the only national party...

all of them not only upper or minority, lower middle everyone voted for them.. the temptations of mandal and kamandal politics made them vote for such parties.. now after learning that it was all nonsense, when they come back, congress is happy

Cheers to south Indian. However, the real fact is that Congress lost 1 seat in WB and 5 assembly seats in UP. Ferozabad is won by Rajbaber due to enmass voting by a particular community in his favour, the vote bank which was earlier favouring S.P. In Rajasthan marching forward of congress seems to have come to stop as BJP won one seat and other seat won by congress at a reduced margin. So Rahul baba required to work hard to make a strong vote bank. During the last Assembly election of Haryana, Maharastra and Arunachal pradesh even though congress won arthmatically all the states, the percentage of vote has been reduced considerably. In terms of LS constituencies congress Lost 5 LS seats compared to last LS election.

congress had only 2 of those 11 seats in UP, not 5.. it won the lucknow seat and the LS seat. It came second in some 4-5 seats pushing SP to third.. thats goood enough, satisfying..
I used to be CPIM supporter, now BJP. But I would say, this is more like media creation that CPIM got drubbing in election.
Out of 10 seats in WB, 7 were already won by TMC/Congress before. The only seat CPIM lost was East Belgachia- Subhas Chakraborty's seat- THOUGH IT SHOULD BE REMEMBERED, EVEN IN 2006 ELECTION, SUBHAS WON BARELY BY 1500 VOTE. So, left was already loosing space.
In Kerala, all 3 seats were held by Congress- so, what;s big deal/
Re: CPIM;s drubbing is more media creation than actual fact

No big deal!!! You must say same thing in 2011 when Left gets the boot from WB!

Lol! Lol! at least she is an ally right? what u got to do in Bihar? still you got many seats right? just because of him!
Where are the chaddiwallahs hiding? I remember when I was browsing this site during the 2009 Lok sabha polls, these people were writing obituary for the Congress, predicting doomsday. They were forecasting 50,60, 70 etc. in total for the Congress and for the BJP they said it will post over 200. Now, where they are hiding their face. Even during 2004 polls, they failed similarly when they claimed that the whole India was behind BJP for the India that was shining. Poor losers.
I am not surprised Trinamool Congress has mauled the Left in WB. The Left Governmnt represented itself as the best example of incompetence, not being able to solve any of the day to day problems in the state. So, suc a result was inevitable. It is time for WB to seek a more inspiring leadership with some vision.......
The BJP has lost deposits in Uttar Pradesh every where in UP except the Lucknow West. It is now becoming a fringe party in the State which it truly deserves for all its flip-flops.

BJP lost 2 sitting seats in UP and draw a blank.. Congress lost its 2 sitting seats but win back the Lucknow seat from BJP after 25 years (Vajpayee seat more or less) and trounced the SP in Ferozabad LS seat.. Good enough..

But most of the Press have claimed that Congress won Firozabad mainly due to his canvassing. Furthermore, the Congress came second in five seats of Uttar Pradesh.

The Hindu in all its editions claims that Firozabad was won by the "Rahul factor" What the whole thing proves is the Congress managers have sucessfull purchased the media . The Congress has received a drubbing ... in UP - their only consolation is that the BJP was wiped out ... ! The victory of Mayawati is clear while the Dalits do mind hosting the scion of the Nehru- Gandhi family for a meal at their residences they will vote for their own kind. Babbar wond based on the fact that workers of the SP in that constituency voted for him . Rahul ans the media that make make a mountian of him is not important .
