There is nothing called as Hindu culture or Indian culture. Communities and castes within Hinduism have their own identities and culture. There is nothing in common.

What is the common culture ? Do you know the practices of a South Indian and North Indian, it completely differs even with respect to Mangalsutra.

Both north and south Indians observe four basic tenets (given above) of Indian culture. hence they both belong to same umbrella culture.

Why not? There are thousands of examples today of North Indian and South Indian alliances. It is the choice of individuals. You can't force it in the name of homogenizing.

You said Hinduism is Indian culture ? Is there anything called as Indian culture as such ?? By this, you are certainly not appreciating the diversity of this Country. Every State has different religions, caste, communities and different cultures. There is nothing homogenous.

TMC is doing great job in all the Loksabha seats they have won and all the municipalities they have won. They must be given the credit for it. And, regarding industry, TMC is not anti-industry but it only opposed establishing industry in highly fertile land. Singur was the "Bowl of Potato" in Bengal and yielded four crops a year(3 besides potato). Now CPM has destroyed its fertility in name of industry, price of potato has increased from Rs.6 to Rs.30. So, please try to know the whole scenario before commenting.

Congress has nothing to rejoice
by vijaya kumar on Nov 10, 2009 06:10 PM  | Hide replies

BJP is already a dead party. Forget about them. Rahul Baba's congress kicked out of UP by Mayawati. Rajbabar winning Firozabad is not a congress victory, as Rajbabar was appealing to voters in the name of his religion. CPM is kicked out of WB by TMC not by Congress. If congress constested without TMC they would have not been able to win a single seat at WB. In kerala there is no alterative other than Congress. Every five year people their want a change.

IT IS A VICTORY OF TWO LADIES MAYAWATI AND MAMTA.
