The citizens of Mumbai were fooled 5 years back promising that Mumbai will be like another shanghai & now again this year that Mumbai will be a world class city.
But the citizens are only to be blamed. With 35% polling in Mumbai, they themselves are responsible for their woes and the politicians are just enjoying making false promises.

Don't just blame the government all the time. We do not do anything on our part to improve our preparation for the monsoon. We all use polyethylene bags without every giving a though about where do they end up. Of course they end up in the city drains and causes all the monsoon nuisance. Why cant we carry cloth/jute bags with us, when ever we go to the market?
