Nagesh is no more. His versatality in acting is comparable with Shivaji Ganesan and Manorama. Any character, any role, any language. A very decent person, far above the Language barrier. He has gone, as he played the role in Neer Kumizhi(WAter Bubble) in which he sang : Aadi Adangum vazhkkaiyada, aaradi nilamey sonthamada..." Meaans, we play and rest but nothing is taken by us, ecxcept 6 ft long space( in the burial ground)May his soul rest in Indian Cimema.
in fact i am a great fan of nagesh But the show must go on Hence i am trying to entertain people with messages like Nagesh, the entertainer. the show must go on

we don't want a cheap mentality crap like you to entertain us.. leave this forum soon.. infact leave this world soon and that will be an entertainment for us.
Dear Sri Nagesh! we really enjoyed your stellar performances in Anubhavi Raja Anubhavi, Neerkumizhi, Ethirneechal, Major Chandrakanth, Bama Vijayam and many MGR movies. You are a comedian par excellence! Probably God needs some humour at this time that is why He called you back!!
Rediff, please add an image of the Superstar comedian who has enthralled the audience for the past four decades. He sure deserves one. Nagesh is one of Tamil Cinema's most saleable, likeable and trully funny man who has a million fans across the globe. His demise brings extreme sorrow to the tinsel world.
What do they know of Indian cinema, who know of but only Hindi cinema? Those making stupid notes here about Nagesh being just a'regional' actor may be forgiven for being so short on knowledge but long on rhetoric. Perhaps it will be worthwhile to inform them that the Hindi film Pyar Kiye Jaa was a remake of the Tamil, Kadhalikka Neramillai, and Mehmood played Nagesh's role in the original Tamil version, and those who have seen both will vouch that Mehmood was a poor shadow of the original. To his credit it must be said that Mehmood paid rich compliments to Nagesh for his acting in the original, which he acknowledged to have tried to mimic in Hindi. It is unfortunate that those who know nothing about "Regional" cinema make sweeping statements about thespians like Nagesh-they are like the proverbial frogs in the well! Nagesh, it was who virtually recreated comedy in Tamil films after the passing of stalwarts like Thangavelu, M.R. Radha etc. Long live his soul!
