If you do not know about Tamil comedians, pl keep your mouth shut. Tamil comedians and comedy are thousand times better than Hindi comedians and comedy. Nagesh was not only a comedian, but also a character actor. May his soul rest in peace

Go to google and type nagesh - tamil comedian...and you will get him to see. Without doubt, he was the best comedian of Tamil Cinema. We can only pray for his SOUL to rest in PEACE
If one sees "Neerkumizhi" one will realise that Nagesh was much more than a comedian. Rajesh Khanna or Amitabh was nowhere near him in performance in "Anand" which was based on the said Tamil movie. Unlike Mehmood, Nagesh did not have to resort to double entendre to make one laugh. Unfortunately, he was born in the south of the Vindhayas and therefore he was not given his due by the government which regards everything North Indian as national and everything south Indian as regional, thanks to our pliant South Indian politicians! I was hoping to meet him in person sometime in April this year. But God decided otherwise. My Namaskaras (pranams) will hopefully reach this actor nonpareil, courtesy God.

with all respects to your view, please dont compare apples and oranges. every actor has a fan following you cant say one is better just on based on number of fans.. even that ways Amitabh is a much bigger superstar
Mr.Nagesh death is a great blow not only to the Tamil Film World,but to the Indian Film Industry as whole.Mr.Nagesh was a versatile actor and portrayed many roles and did justice to them.Some of his movies were really touching and bring tears in the eyes of the audiences.I pray to THE ALMIGHTY to give enough courage and strength to his wife and his children in this hour of grief,and HIS SOUL TO REST IN PEACE.

How else you wanted the headline to be ?? He is one of most respected and elderly person in the south cine industry. and rediff is also popular in Tamilnadu. You guys only want headline of Rakhi Sawant or Mallika Sherawat.

when your comments are there here, there is no problem in keeping an article about a person's death who entertained so many people when he was alive..
We have heard the death of many film stars. But somehow the death of this greatest Comedian touches our hearts more since such was his talent that just his appearance on the screen made us forget our worries. May his soul rest in peace. Regards Kumar
