Whatever. The flat earth theory and the geocentric theory was "fact" well into the 1600s, and believed for thousands of years. So what? Just because lies have been perpetuated for thousands of years does not make them true. There is no scientific proof (clear cause and effect) that has ever backed up jyotish or any astrological pseudo-science. Therefore it's a lie. The jyotish shastris of that era didn't bother to prove it, and neither do the current lot. Otherwise, any mumbo-jumbo can be accepted as science: cat crossing the road brings bad luck, bad things happen if a mirror breaks in the house and rot like that. Prove it, and then it becomes science. If not, it's a pile of junk.
The greeks also dreamt of flying (flight of Icarius). That does not mean it actually happened. How did the technology magically appear and disapper without any documentation? Again, no proof, therefore myth.
If your idea of spiritualism is living in the stone age, god help this country.

If you claim a species exists, the burden of proof is on you: you prove it exists, else it does not exist. Until then, your claim IS junk. That is how science and law work... did you go to school?
If you bring hard proof, I am more than willing to accept astrology. All I have seen and heard so far is anecdotes, not proof. Even statistical methodology is fine, but give something.
Science cannot prove everything, it is true. What is cannot prove, it admits to it, and continues to find proof (or disproves). What andhavishwas does is that it prevents you from finding answers to unknown questions by claiming that the answers have already been found, but take my word for it, no proof required. That is nonsense, and mind manipulation.
To summarise: Burden of proof is on YOU. YOU or your astrologer gurus prove that astrology works, else it is garbage. The rest of the world has to prove nothing.

We wish him a succesful herath surgery at AIMMS Hospital. I dont understand why 7 doctors are needed for the operation, when Dr. Dixtix performs easily and best surgery in our country and not with so many doctors at operation theatre. They say too many cooks spoils the soup. Hope everything goes well and God almighty help him and after the operation a full recovery. Second thin I fully appreciate Advani's presence and without fail our Sonia where they said good bye and good succes for the surgery. They delay a man's entry into an ICU because of some stupid superstition, for 1 hour? Luckily for him nothign happened, but what if it did affect him? The fact that they are putting him in an ICU means his condition is serious. Why would these idiots waste time getting him into a hospital is mind-boggling.

I do not follow... Rediff just reported it, so how can they be silent on it? Every PM has a succession plan, in the event of something happening to him/her; this may be publicized or internally discussed. Whether Madam ordered it or not is not at issue. As the PM it is his prerogative to appoint anyone he wishes as the interim PM or head of finance ministry. Just as appointing the PM is the prerogative of the majority party. That's how the system works, sir...
