This Riyas and Netpal are same persons (some Congi implanted chamchas) responding to each other. Ignore this. It is in India's interest to ignore this non-sense.

doctor who came in quota (reservation) should do the surgery!
by balamurali ramachandran on Jan 23, 2009 11:29 PM  | Hide replies

I think some doctor who came in quota (reservation) should do the surgery! This is the best way to show UPA and congress to show solidarity to quota provisions in AIIMS and IIT'S.If PM doesnt belive in quota who will!!

Why so worried about this writing in particular? Balamurali is raising the valid point. WE must ensure that reserved category and minorities get first share of nation....so PM must get treatement for these. It is birthright of PM as well as of these reserved/minority category persons. Do not snatch it away from him.

OHH god grow up!! and get over the reservations already.....reservation/quota are essential for the upliftment of the low strata of the society....at micro level the quota will hurt the sentiments of the students but it is important for country. so accept it and get over it!!

@Garima
How long you keep this quota ?? even after 60 years of Independence??

These Political parties using it for the vote bank, particular this Congress and DMK (TN) Govt. using as their primary weapon even the so called caste peoples are well settled.

And do remember all types of people means riches, poors, business minded persons, artists, scientists; professionals, etc are coming from all over the castes. It’s mainly the Will power within them and those persons dont need any quota to grow-up in their life.

So where actually these quotas going into.... Peoples who are lazy enough to work, Political based peoples, persons who always like the shortcuts to grow-up in their like, and etc..,

Remember Dr Abdul Kalam studied in a remote Village in Tamilnadu in those days. Which quota system helped to him? It’s his will power, skills and hungry to grow in the Life and NOT Quota...

Quota was there in India for Centuries. Those days it was known by other name. People with political power always set the agenda. Those days, some did. Now others are doing it. Nothing has changed. In Nepal Pashupati temple, there is quota for priest job ...

keep off that thinking sir.Be it reservation or merit,one who updates his knowledge and skill only will survive in this era of competition.Reservation in quota means only a helping hand for the under previleged;if he excels,he will cherish;otherwise he will perish.Unless you and I change our social outlook to be more human and humane to our fellow country men irrespective of caste or creed,this necessary "evil" of resrvation will and should continue.
I can give numerous examples of great men who benefitted from reservation and contributed for the betterment of India.
