He has been one of the best PM india had in a long time. Be careful Mr Sivakumar. Would you wish the same other say if your father were in similiar ICU? Show the value of your education and upbringing.

How has he been the best PM?
1. Poverty- increased
2. Corruption- sky high
3. Economy- tanking
4. Social harmony- gone
5. Terrorism- free run
6. Super PM- mockery of PM's post
7. Nuclear deal- a hog wash- wasted two years. Not one additional MW of electricity added

In his cabinet, Laloo strieks as the best minister- I rest my case

However, I wish him long life- not as PM but as a human being.

Poor Guy
by asli bharatwasi on Jan 24, 2009 01:47 AM  | Hide replies

Poor MMS, he was never fit to be a leader, he should simply have been and advisor with the planning commission. Its sad that he is hospitalized and lets pray he recovers soon. However, it shouldnt undermine the fact that he will go in the history books as a weak PM along the lines of IK Gujral and Deve Gowda. He could never take tough decisions while being the PM.

He has done far more than many PMs ? What do you know about being a PM..nakli ? He works 16 hours a day, unlike the person who preceded him and went to sleep at lunch. I pity you guys who think strong statements to the press and rhetoric is hard work. Modi's success is due to the macro economic policies of MMS

You should be ashamed of yourself for writing this even after you read that Mr Singh furnished his duty even as he was being taken to the ICU. would u do that if u were to have a bypass?

Mr Kannan..the problem with these Nickerwalas is that they cannot digest the fact the mr MMS has done so much for our economy and they don't have such a learned person in their (BJP) ranks.

Re: Re: Re: Poor Guy

When somebody says that he is weak, I find that rather laughable.. he's one guy who has not made a lot of noise but has taken the boldest decisions that show his long term vision. He's the one who started the reforms when the country's economy was in tatters. Everybody said that he's an agent of the world bank. He's the one who signed the nuclear deal leaving political expediency and putting his govt at stake for something he believed was right for the nation. I can't think of any leader who could be so steadfast in his resolve. He's the one who had the courage to take on the people responsible for the Malegaon blasts who incidentally happen to be people from the Hindu fundamentalist organizations. I can't imagine any govt having the courage to take such a decision in a country with 80% hindus, something that would their political votebanks at stake. Boldness is not about shouting through the rooftops, stopping trains, burning buses or killing innocent citizens through rioting. It's about the courage of conviction and it's about decisiveness that is reflective of the changing times. That our PM has in ample measure. Get well soon Sir.

A solar eclipse more important?
by praveen rao on Jan 24, 2009 12:58 AM  | Hide replies

I dont get it. He is being rushed to the ICU but has to delay his departure because there is a solar eclipse that warrants a pooja? And what if the time spent on pooja could prove fatal. Sure looks like science is thriving under the UPA regime.

And yet we bemoan the lack of scientific temper in this country ... no wonder. Whether the PM believes in astrology or not is his personal matter, however being a PM his actions would be taken as proof by a lot of people. And also there are idiots who call this BJP like ! I dont beleive in astrology but for a practice that is thousands of year old, to call it BJP like !!!!
