It is the happenings in the last two months that has taken a serious toll on your mind and body. We all know that you are greatly incapacitated and handicapped by those surrounding you and using your virtues and uprightness for their political mileage and gains. I feel that you are among the last few surviving great souls in Indian politics (excuse me for making you a politician) today that knows much needs to be done and time is too little.
Please do not burn your energy on the ungreatful, undeserving and selfish people surrounding you. The country is destined to doom with its current political, judicial, corrupt and bureucratic system. Retire and enjoy your remaining years with your family who need you the most. Even on this message board you can see how this article "From Race Course Road to the ICU" has been used to create a divide between Northies and Southies. Shame on our educated citizens.

I have absolutely no doubt on the capacity and capability of our countrymen and the country. What can we expect the fate of our children if convicts like Sanjay Dutt or Item girls like Manyata are given tickets and sit in the parliament to decide our future? Can you imagne what will happen if Mayawati becomes PM?

aby koshi, Coffins- don't question sincerety of Mr George Fernandese. They were of good quality for the martyrs. Kandhar- we had just 20 minutes to respond, & all parties took the decision we took. Parliament- strongest opposition faced by Army & international community, which couldn't be created even after Mumbai massacre. Gujarat- Hindu's won't just get killed anymore.

Coffins: "don't question sincerety of Mr George Fernandes" Why the hell not? The question was never about the quality of the coffins, but if kickbacks were given, and/or money siphoned off the funds.
Kandahar: THis happened because the NSG could not get to Amritsar in time, inspite of being in Haryana. Also, regardless of who was consulted, the NDA was in power, so it was their decision and theirs alone. That is why they are the govt and the others, the opposition. For all the talk of being hard on terror, they released terrorists. UPA did not even negotiate with the terrorists, which is a much better and hardline apporoach (Of course they screwed up the intelligence bigtime)
Gujarat: How exactly are 3000 muslims all over the state of gujarat responsible for buring 1 train? How does that make sense? How does it make sense for the establishment to do nothing when law and order was deteriorating the way it was? That was a pogrom, no other word for it. They wanted to punish an entire community for something maybe a dozen people did.

I read the sequence of events with great interest. I see every one called or almost everyone- is SOUTHIE name. Are U saying Delhi or India is managed by Dosa guys ! Are they no stalwart Singhs or Srivastavas to be alerted too. Strange.
