initially we were all happy
by rahiakil on Jan 13, 2009 02:07 PM  | Hide replies

Two years back , we were all happy and had the confidence that Lalu, yes, Lalu has finalyl decided to mend his ways and is thinking about doing something,
Afterall, to purge your sins by coming into use.
I dont know, how these politicians, who are nearing death , have materialistic demands.

I will never be able to decode them.
Still, I feel like we all have become the laughing stock of our own conscience.
Our conscience, definitely tells us that , look dude " You have been duped "

You have been conned. There is no where you can go with all your bleats. We all think about the olden days, and feel sympathy for our forefathers, as to the lack of facilities.

But dont you realize, that you are being fed with the same shit day in day out.
For us the problems are even bigger, we now know and see it on television or read it or see in media the meaning of quality of life.
Forget quality of life, we have atleast some idea as to what life was supposed to be,
It was supposed to be a journey to elevate your self, to gather more knowledge, and develop spiritually,
We in India, have to fight for even the basic stuff.
I am not talking to the ones working in American companies, earning near to lakhs. I am talking of the rest of the nation.
A nation that grows up to see that how the uneducated and the goons rule the country
Problem my dear friends is that, Railways is just and example of our way of life. Each and every industry is screwing us in one way or other

Do you know how much a rail ride to Next station say 5km away costs, its close to Rs 300. For the same price you can travel 300 kms or even more in India.I heard that now its even profitable...I think we are getting into habit of criticising others....our train network is largest in world..it works..its cheap..its profitable..so be proud of it. NEXT TIME DONT' THROW YOUR GARBAGE on train floors, TRAINS is foreign nations are not clean because they have some super cleaners waiting for you to blow your nose and they are ready to clean, its because people dont' litter. If we stop littering our trains can also be clean. BE THE CHANGE, YOU WANT TO SEE IN INDIA..

300Km/h Trains?
by kalpesh patel on Jan 13, 2009 02:05 PM  | Hide replies

why would you need 300kmh trains? people aren't complaining about the speed of the trains in india... look at the forums. they just want a better service. Unlike Japan, France, Germany Indian people enjoy long and slow Train Journeys.

I love it when i pass through various states while i'm on my way to my destination. I love seeing and absorbing the countryside.

All people want is better condition trains. AC compartments through -n- through. better sleeper compartments and cleanliness. before the train starts the toilets need to be scrubbed clean with deodorizers in them. (lock em if you want) keep a check on corruption going on in the trains. improve booking system...and introduce more trains if possible (there should be little or no waiting lists).. implement some of these things and people will be happy. streamline the regular engine and you might end up consuming lesser electricity per year. (which means more electricity for India)

Not merely the Biharis, we Indians, both educated and uneducated need to be cultured and civilized first, before we can introduce new technology. Lalu himself is uncultured always full of separatist and uncivilized thoughts. He wants to work for and promote uncivilized people. This is also true for Leftists In West Bengal and the politicians in general.

Some one had to come...if not you then them!
had you gone there, Bihar would not have come to you...instead a home would have come to you...now whats the point in boiling your blood for something which has no ground..after all Biharis are doing better than you when it comes to competition..that to far away from their own home!

by awakearaise forsafertomorrow on Jan 13, 2009 01:45 PM  | Hide replies

Lallu should visit the toilets & railway stations, he should personally clean few of them & take training in maintaining them rather than spending taxpayer/ticket buyers money by travelling in Bullet tains.
