One side you have inefficient ministers like Shivraj patil, Murli Deora, Arjun Singh and Prafful Patel in UPA cabinet....here Lalu emerges as a King who has transformed sick railways into a money spinner with unbelievable success ..making it richest ever profit making government sector! Whatta Job...people are jealous of him because he is not sophisticated and still the winner...The King!

Don't apprise lalu, he is the most corrupted man in India. He has not made any efforts to get the railway in to profit but the employees done, he is another way earning crores of money through contract work being done to others and other many ways, he is the most corrupted man still in india. he is earning crores of rupees per day from railway.

THAKELE, RAILWAY TRANSFORMED DUE TO IT'S OFFICERS NOT BECAUSE OF LALUA. Even if u have been minister, Railways would have done better.

Dear Yede Lallu - You are realy a lullu !Credit always go to commander when there is victory. So Lalu is Hero no doubt. He will be known as Best Railway Minister - No doubt.Most Officers can not do until they are forced to to do something. _ I can never give credit to officers : they only think about their salary, their holidays, their rights, their family and their enjoyment only. You can check it every where. Yes few officers takes decisin : I will tell you one example normally IAS is seen as reputed service and known as most powerful Job so what happened to me as follows. I am working outside I was in need of Certificate from Collector as residance proof. Since I am working outside so It takes two days to reach to my native place and being working in Pvt organization I could manage to take only 5 days Leave only to get the certificate. So I had practically only one day. I went directly to Colletor office but as usual he was not availabe . So I went to ADM and requested him to issue me the certificate I shown him all necessary document like school certificate, passport in that address was mentioned and PAN card, He was unfortunately IAS but not ready to talk to me and not willing to see anything he said why I have come to him go to Tahsildar. tahsildar said come in the evening and get it cerfied by Patwari. I wasted my time , money and came with frustation. Later after two years I went that time I requested to one another IAS he immeditely with in 5 minutes issued.
This man is irony in himself: He converted Bihar into hell and brought humiliation to biharis..as a CM. And here he is doing miracles for a department of central government which was hopeless few years back, turning it into money spinner and completely revolutionizing Railways making it richest body. Alas Lalu could have dont something for Bihar...at least to neutralize his sins and crime against Bihar which made Bihar backward in his 15 years of rule!
IF SUCCEED, IT WILL BE THE BEGINNING OF NEW ERA IN RAILWAYS BY LALU PRASAD YADAV - RAILWAY MINISTER OF INDIA, FOR WHICH JAPANESE CONTRIBUTION WILL BE REMEMBERED.
The initiatives taken by laloo seems to be of a patriotic nature as he probably the first man to take trouble to evaluate any particular project before adopting in the Indian environment. But looking at the corruption level in railway no body can ruleout any there maynot be any hidden agenda.
Better, we make him as PM, no doubt, he will do good things to India, instead of believing Congress & BJP both are most untrue parties to the people and country.
Going gala about high-tech trains introduction is okay as we have to move with the fast moving world.
But as many readers have highlighted seriously and jokingly in these colums, Indian Railways need alround streamlining - from booking tickets, selling tickets in daily counters, platform management, bogies maintenance, track maintenace, maintenance of stations, proper policing at all connected places, better facilities to the passengers, etc.,
God save us from the cluthches of colonial type of thinking of politicians and hapless Railway administration!
