Mindset
by Aum Company on Aug 25, 2009 10:24 AM  | Hide replies

India is being ruled by people whose political inspiration comes from outside the borders.
They have no sense of belonging to the land and no pride in the past history when Indian influence stretched from Central Asia to the Philippines.
The mindset of the political hierarchy is to exploit, not to serve.

what sense of belonging did the bbjjpp govet had? showing whatever was secret and then giving disgrace to the army. what policy the bbjjpp govet was worth praising? the indian army lost the chinese war in 1962 mostly because of the human wave of the chinese military personal had stormed the indian posts. right now the chinese are being in trouble in Zannjim=ng trials which are being started under heavy security and the chinese govet wud go the Burmese way.

Indo-China relations
by sudhanshu panda on Aug 25, 2009 09:04 AM  | Hide replies

The way our politicians are behaving,I think sooner or later we will lose Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh -both.No strategic planning , no defence readiness. Now a days Parliament hardly discusses anything relevant except some caste based reservations or some schemes in the name of Nehru-Gandhi family.Opposition is in total disarray.Goons are becoming MPs and MLAs,so hardly anything new and innovative is expected from them. The defence services have n't get new weapons for the last 20 yeras.Whenever, some new procurement of weapons is spoken about ,it is scuttled under the garb of corruption or Bofors shadow. The DRDO is like a white elephant who thought their job is over after the Agni missiles in 1980's.Even the short range missiles are yet to be inducted in to the defence services-forget abot the Chinese specific long range missiles. The much touted Arjun battle tank is a misfit and total disaster.New LCAs are there to be taxied on the run way during air shows only.No accountability or audit of DRDO projects. As sson as Our PMs go out of India they try to ape Nehru, nad make a fool of themselves.Witness how Bajpayee and Manmohan Singh agreed with Pakistan's guile.
On the other hand Both China nad Pakistan are totally focussed on what they want. Therefore instead of drumming Panchsheel!!!we should be strong and prepared.

Beware India
by Govind Lal on Aug 25, 2009 07:26 AM

We are given a promise to make India a super power. For what? Are we going to be like the Thug of Macedonia or some body like that. India stood for peace. We respect other sovereign states. Differences between nations can not be solved by wars. It is against our culture to pile up ammunition to attack some one. These piling up may enhance the productions in some defense establishments. Why should we use our hard earned foreign exchange for that purpose? As soon as an agreement is signed here another agreement will be signed with our neighbours telling them cleverly that India is adding more weapons in its stock and others need to stock-pile enough weapons to defend it. If funds are a problem, it will be provided on soft conditions. Both these acts will help defense industries to flourish. The talk of the terrorism is just a smoke screen. Behind the smoke screen lot of sale deed will be signed unnoticed by the people.

Save India
by Govind Lal on Aug 25, 2009 07:21 AM  | Hide replies

The media is creating a euphoria about our relationship with neighbours. There is a conspiracy brewing. Here is a message I posted several times. Note the words in capital.
Save India

Dear India my Mother Land!

She is weeping!

It all started with the signing of declaration on

The N-deal, surrendering our sovereignty

On the black day

All political parties are out with SCAMS, CRITICISM,**BORDER WAR**

TERRORISM, ACCIDENTS, INTERSTATE DISPUTES, RELIGIOUS DISPUTE, BLAMES etc.

More subjects will be born and die to keep people busy

Like the story of a dog and the bone

Allowing free flow of capital abroad.

Very soon the N-deal will be signed by our “respected PM”.

With his hand tainted while making a scar on Indian democracy

With a dagger sharpened by his 'foreign love'

Putting all hopes on foreigners, not Indians

Not knowing that they will not develop India and Indians for free

Forgetting Bhaba and Nehru and their vision

To get nuclear energy after a decade!

Projecting a glossy picture ahead.

Project schedules are decided by negotiations :)

During the year long visit abroad, sixty times by a big boss

The deals are ready to sign including loans

With intriguing clauses with far reaching consequences

Limiting India's interference by the bot schedule

All shrouded in the word 'confidential'

To be signed in dotted lines.

2. The congress has no say again

They had collected 'share' in advance

In between, other political parties had the share,

Hope not?

The details could be known via gossip alone?

The whole drama will continue till all papers are signed.

Looser?

The dear nation- its sovereignty and independence

Gained through sacrifices of many patriots

Across the country, spanning a century and more.

Projects on bot basis is disastrous to India

Enabling senior jobs for them not for Indians

A few hundred for every plant

With perks as in their country

Easing their unemployment

Giving chance for regular remittance abroad

Keeping the know-how with them intact.

Many concessions to follow

Customs free import of plants and materials

Though many are available here

Or through dubious methods

Allowing to transfer their sale proceeds too

A substantial amount!!

Start flow of FDI -abundant

The share market gets a sudden boost

Destined to stop when the FDI stops.

Feel of comfort in every field for a while

And decline in cultural values.

Dilly dallying by special interests

Delay in projects, call for revision of project cost

Leaders of the day get the share, both sides

No murmuring!

Device mechanism to link unit price with inflation

If not in the signed deal, technically right.

3. No murmuring!

Excuses from treasury benches, allegations from opposition

Everything moves as scheduled by the unknown

Uranium shortage, excuses, blame on world market

A serious omission in the vision

Regular revision of unit price

Linked to the dictated price of Uranium.

Near end of Uranium supply, idling the plant

Decommissioning follows,

Keep nuclear waste safe for ten thousand years

Herculean task indeed!!

$3 Billions a year for ten years for every plant

By the present international data and standard.

All finance from foreign loans

The one politicians love

Defined by the words perestroika and glasnost

Only in words, not in deeds.

In between the Indian financial web crumbles

As projects are on BOT basis

Government looses all controls

Inflation rise to unimaginable levels.

Wish not happen!

Excuses and blames.....

Destruction of cultural values built over eons

God may protect us from radiation and terrorists

The individuals worked for the N-deal live in oblivion.

Intelligentsia, NGOs, Non political organizations, individuals

Think over

The people's call,

Keep India united

SAVE US!!

chinese threat is real and India needs to act now!
by Grizzly on Aug 25, 2009 06:41 AM  | Hide replies

china will not hesitate to attack us. they are waiting for the right time to do it. We might only have little time up our sleeves.

India needs to move simultaneously on many fronts:

1. Develop indegenous weapons and fast track critical weapons delivery schedules. Show launches to the chinese so that they know of our power.
2. Immidiately find chinese enemies, who will be our good friends. Countries like Japan, US, Vietnam have bitter rivalry with china. These countries will support India and provide crucial help. Countries like Russia, South Korea etc. dont like chinese either and will gladly help India to counter china.
3. India should push for a permanent seat in UNSC urgently and get it done. This way, India will be recognised as an important country in the world which should not be allowed to be destabalised.
4. India should drop its "blind brotherly" attitude towards china and adopt a mature attitude of give and take. If china does not want to be friendly to us, we should not be seen bowing to them. We should make chinese realise that if we are to have a relationship with them, it will be one of mutual respect. Otherwise, we will gladly support Uighurs, Tibetans and all others oppressed by chinese.
5. India should introduce more liberal reforms and attract FDI. Especially in the North East region. Let us develop North East so much that they will never think of leaving us and going to a dictatorial china. We need to develop more SEZ'z in North East.

6. Develop tax havens in India and let our politicians and businessmen keep their black money here rather than leaving it in swiss banks or other places. This is a reality and we cannot escape from it. This might not look like a morally right decision but it is a strategic decision. We need that money to finance crucial defence and civil infrastructure projects. Why do we go begging to ADB or IMF for money? Once we can keep our black money within our country, ADB and IMF will come to us to borrow money! Goa, Andaman, Nicobar, Daman, Diu etc. are a few places that could be developed to become our tax havens.
7. India needs a more aggressive foreign policy. We need to make some good freinds in the international arena. Sponsor a few roads in Vietnam, some hospitals in Cambodia, schools in Nepal, dams in Lanka etc. Make our neighborhood a friendly place! It will go a long way for India.

Do not let chinese get away with ignoring India! We need to make chinese realise that India is a strong and important neighbour. If they dont treat us with respect, they can forget about global power status, they will have to struggle to even gain a regional power status!

it is to demonstrate to the chinese indias power that India helped sri lanka defeat the LTTE. by providing accurate intelligence about LTTE activities. Indeed manmohan singh has proved to himself and to the world indias muslce power when it comes to crushing insignificant rebel forces like LTTE. Manmohan Singh is very sure that the world is shuddering in fear after seeing indias potential in intelligence gathering and covert support.

There is no point to blame another for ones own mistake nehruSOB himself was a Stab on india's heart by his policies and stupid reforms .China is more or less a responsible nation and global player and it was evident in the 71 War that it dint meddle in any of our affiars. It was the nehrus forward policy of acquiring land which complicted things thru out.
Present scenario it now high time to keep the china phobia aside and start a constructive relation with china which would be beneficial for both great nations,(those commies who are unpatriotic can leave india and live in china )If some of the guys thinks chinese crush their own citizens then it is ignorance, cos of all that strictness china is growing to a super power and see our nation what happens every day strikes, bandhs, stirs, million political outfits and fuckdup politicians which makes growth stagnent.
before, for those posting a reply for my post just click on to CNN GPS fareed Zakharia's talk with Chinese premier and you will understand. also check out many chinese websites have hard critisisms against their govt and still the W3 is accessable.
