Advaniji has made a very sensible assessment of the current scenario as regards the terrorist threat to our nation. Let us not discuss now whether BJP is the cause or even whether th inaction of the present government is the cause. The same situation is faced by all democracies and nations which respect individual liberties. Swift action and tougher laws are the only weapons available. Even summary executions carried out in countries like Saudi and China have never become a real deterrent.Taking action by itself will not eradicate this menace. The whole country would feel better and move on forward.Neither the blatant minoritysm (affirmative action) or the other extreme bigotism are cures. Equip the anti-terror machinery with reinforcements and bolster the prosecution system with tough laws.Take comfort from the fact that our country is so huge and spread out that even nukes cant put us out of action let alone these patakas.
Advani ji, please let us know your motives more clearly. Are you up for Hindutva or are you in for seculariam. Because both cannot coexist now. Whenver, BJP comes to power, its Hindutva ideology takes a back seat, and its acts more secular than congress, hence cheating ad disappointing the people of India who vote for you on Hindutva ideology. If this time you come to power, do you promise to free the country of anti Hindu elements or you will again act a Kandahar?
Muslims on Rediff message boards say that Islamic terrorism increased after the demolition of Babri Masjid and after Godhra riots.
Our SECULAR politicians like Amar Singh, Lalu Prasad Yadav and several other leaders too said on TV the same thing, "Islamic terrorism is caused or enhanced by Babri Masjid demolition and Godhra riots".
Let us extend the same logic.
Muslims destroyed several thousand Hindu temples in India during the last 1000 years. They butchered several million Hindus during the last 1000 years. Muslim historians themselves prodly recorded that more than laks idol-worshippers were killed in each of several marathon killing sprees. Search Google and Wikipedia.
As though, this is not enough, even while Gandhi and several other leaders tried to unite Hindus and Muslims, India was partitioned and Pakistan and Bangladesh were created.
So, extending your logic, what should the Hindus do?
If Muslims and our SECULAR politicians justify Islamic terrorism by saying that Babri Masjid demolition and Godhra riots, then are Babri Masjid demolition and Godhra riots not justified by the atrocities committed by Muslims for 1000 years?

You are a moron! Islam was spread in India by Foreign Invaders, the mongols. All of India's muslims and christians you see today are converts from Hindu religion. Some of the Christians and Muslims originally belonged to Backward classes of Hinduism. When they got an equal status in another religion they chose it. Even today when you go to Udupi temple they make you remove your shirt so that they can identify who is a Brahmin and who is not. They are fed separately. I know this because I am a Brahmin. So imagine how a lower caste Hindu will feel. Before you spread hate, educate yourself. You are a stupid person. I remember when I was coming back in a bus in 1992 there was a communal flare up because of this rath yatra. There was a muslim woman with a child sitting in front of me. The moment the mob saw them they threw stones. Now do you think that child will have no emotional pain. That's why they become terrorists, when they are not accepted by other Indians. What we need now is dialogue, understanding and acceptance of all people, not hate!

In Tuzk-i-Timuri, Timurlan writes how he had 100,000 hindus killed in 1 hour, because they didnt accept islam. Their daughters and wives were distubuted among muslims. This is not a single incident of this kind in India. And these things happened long long before babri masjid demolition.

Hindus did so many roits after independance which has never happened in 1000 years of history.
Muslims never destroyed any temple and if done so how old ages temples are existing in India and some dating back to thousands of years. Neither there were roits in Islamic Rules and hence peaceful.
Babri Masjid demolition is the end of these fundamentalists era which is of course short lived.

Visit UttarPradesh, you will find many many mosques surrounded by boundary walls of temples. A quick look would tell you walls are comparatively older than the mosques. How can you say walls belonged to hindu temples? Answer: by seeing engavings of hindu gods and goddesses on the walls.
Use logic: the walls belong to ancient hindu temple. Muslims demolished it and exactly at the same place they built their mosque. They didnt even care to demolish the boundary walls.

Roiting is a shameful thing. Whatever the provocation rioting only targets innocent people and is therefore against humanity. Most of Indians are minority in some way or other. If you are a Hindi speaking Hindu living in maharashtra you are still a minority and see how it feels when someone riots against north indians. I think rioters should be dealt strictly. In Orrisa Bajrang Dal/VHP activists seem to be involved. Bajrang dal/VHP should be asked to reign in their activists or otherwise face action. They need to be told that rioting defames India and Hinduism internationally.
2. Terrorism. SIMI and IM are involved in terrorism. Islamic terrorism brings a bad name to Islam. Muslim organizations need to out cast these groups or anyone related to these organizations. Govt needs to bring in tough anti-terror law and implement these laws impartially. Govt. also needs to bring in best technology so that only the terrorists are targetted.
3. Evangelists. Evangalism needs to be banned. We live in an internet world. If anyone finds any religion better he will change on his own. Evangelists create hatred by slandering other religions openly in public. Also Christian organizations are controlled by white masters in west which is not good for our sovereignty.

Terrorism (Supreme Court threw the case of banning SIMI, IM hetherto not known is having suddently all hands for the last three years) if done by any organisation should be banned and hanged till death after thorough investigation.
What if Christians takes up arms after the roits, rapes, murder etc..

Evangelists are not representing all christians in India, not 5% of Christians are evanjelists. Further, if u say due to recent violence at Orissa, according to that tribal or dalits people, they dont know what is hinduism and they not treated as by hindus. Then the allegation as conversion is baseless. The missionaries first gone to them and provided shelter, food, education, hospital etc. Still it happens in most North Indians that dalits are not dealing as human beings. This cause them some as Naxalists
