This is only matter of time, this law will be repealed. Its unfortunate the straight world decides what is the fundamental rights for gays. But things are improving. In Year 2000 the ban passed was supported by more than 60 person and the gap was more like 20 percent in California. Now this is reduced to 4 percent in California. So its just a matter of time.

A majority of humans are bisexual to a certain degree, but only a percentage is either exclusively homosexual or heterosexual.
The followers of true religion will ban these "deviant" practices and abhor sin. I hope India takes a leaf out of this book and bans such dangerous social manouvres and also brings a Uniform Civil Code for one and all. Of course these good things will happen once evil in the form of the Congress party has been destroyed from its roots in pseudo "Gandhis"

You really are a classic example of a fundamentalist who thinks only he is right and everybody else is wrong. And my dear, Hindu religion is very accomodative of even gay practices. Just look at various exotic & erotic images on ancient temples. It was the christean evangalism which demonised these progressive ideas for its own benefit. Please go and read Mahabharat and find the role of Shikhandi. Even lord Krishna used Services of Shikhandi. Arjun is described as Arjuni during "agyat vaas" and Krishna took the form of Mohini. My friend please dont view the world with your tainted & limited perspective.

My friend, now that you've brought sex into this discussion, let me say this...you clearly lack imagination.
And lack of imagination is what keeps people in the dark ages.
But this isn't at all about sex. This is about civil rights, equality and love.
If we allow a man and man (or woman and woman) to join and call it as marriage, we will soon have to allow marriage between many men and many women (polyandry) and between man/woman and dogs/cats etc.
Marriage = Union of a man and a woman. Any other definition will be unacceptable.

To equate homosexuality to polygamy, polyandry and bestiality is ridiculous. One is genetic and the rest are choices. Marriage is a contract between adults and its definition has changed over the ages. As such it is time to make another change and should be available to two men or two women.

Isnt homosexuality unnatural? I mean males have a penis and females a receptacle which match well and naturally. Now to want to insert it into something else...especially which is meant to eject our waste matter,isnt it rather queer and deviant and....absolute dirt?

Look, you are a prime example of people not using brains and putting any argument to forward their hateful agenda.
I will use your argument against you.
Point 1: Inserting penis "into something else" is unnatural. So you obviously want to outlaw oral and masterbation, right? I wouldn't be surprised as I am sure (if you have ever had intercourse) you must be performing a puja before entering.
Point 2: "especially which is used to ejaculate our waste matter". Just imagine if your wife (if you ever have one) starts thinking the same way - she will never allow your penis inside her (remember - last time you peed you did not use your mouth - you used your penis - hahaha).
It just demonstrates that you are against something just because you are not used to it. But you never realised you are doing the same thing to other human being - putting your "waste ejecting organ" in someone else. Your opposition is opposition of something you are not comfortable with. Now I have no problem with that opposition - but please do not try and make it look like you are opposing it because of some "scientific" reason.

Homosexuality is Unnatural, because the end result of homosexuality is nothing. Whereas the end result of normal male -female sexi s a child. Nature designed sex as a way of propagating DNA beyond the lives of a individual organism.
Whether homosex is right or wrong is different matter, but your concept is wrong,a nd you are like frog in well whihc things the world begins and ends in the well.
Whilst the straight majority is embarrassed and repulsed at an open display of affection between same sex partners(why that, in some radicalised cultures an open display between opposite sex partners enrages and embarrasses), the gays do have a right to exercise their choice of sexual preference, given that they have no control over their genetic coding which causes it. It is also highly inappropriate that straights decide for gays, specially if the straights are uneducated about the basic principles of equality and democracy (true equality and democracy is only achieved when the basic rights of the minorities are not threatened and encroached upon). But having said so, marriage between gays raises further questions. No doubt legal bindings and security gets introduced once structured laws are formed covering a gay arrangement, but...how far would you go before encroaching upon the rights of the majority straights? The children that gays adopt have a right to have straight parents, not be social outcasts and subject to ridicule, not be influenced towards accepting gay relationships if they are genetically not coded for it. So then should gays adopt at all? The females could clone, but then that would be tampering with nature. Natural selection of species weeds out genetic deformities by preventing procreation. Cloning would introduce another unwanted and unacceptable dimension with legal ramifications. Gays need to sort these factors out before thrusting forth their rights.

Wow! Is it so out of your realm of thinking and comfort zone to think that gays can be good, stable and loving parents? Could it be possible that your homophobia excludes the very idea that not all children of gays will become gay? Perhaps it's the idea that you'd have to be more open-minded in teaching your kids not to hate others just because they're different.
If there were so many straight people willing to adopt and if that equation was the best, how come we have so many unadopted children all over the world?
I can't fathom the idea of leaving adoptable kids to rot and suffer in institutions, which cannot give them individual attention, love, support, stability and most of all a sense of belonging.
If straight people taught their kids to not discriminate, we wouldn't have to worry about gay people's kids being ridiculed and made to be the outcasts. Why dump your guilt on those innocents?
It isn't gays who need to figure out these things. It's the straight community that needs to come to grips with what is very normal and good for society.
HOmosexuals in the former Soviet Union have to go to the Mental Hospitals to receive treatment until they get cured. Homosexuality is a Mental Disease, and it can be cured. In the Western countries, it is not considered to be a disease because a number of well placed people, members of the upper class, priests, are Bysexuals. However, India should not follow the Western coiuntries. India should follow the former Soviet law and make it compulsary for the Homosexuals to get admission to the Mental Hospitals. Russians are much more advanced than the Western regarding medical science. West has a lot to learn from the Russians. It is better if RamDoss, as he is promoting Homosexuality, should consult the Russians.

Do you know that there was one more practice common in Russia. Anybody who raises his voice against government/authority was shipped to Sieberia. Should we follow the same in India. Keep your russian zeal & communistic patriotism to yourself. God has given you brain, please try to use it. If we start following russians, India will surely be down the drains.

You are already in the drain, most people in India live in the drains in Jhopris. You can certainly improve if you follow the Russians and sent all Homosexuals including RamDoss, Karunanidhi, Maran, Stalin( Tamil one) to Mental hospitals.
