This bloody china has given Nukes to Pakistan so we shall be busy with dealing with them rather than competing with china.

Where the hell these nations were when china was doing all this.

Nuclear deal is very much important for USA
by sulabh jain on Aug 30, 2008 10:54 AM

Nuclear deal is more important to USA than India to revive american economy. It can generate billions of dollars of money for american businesses.

We can alway make Nuke, because we did not get anything from this deal yet so can't be taken anything back too.

Taking back, the UPA has already sounded the trumpet across the country about the deal and trust vote. Do you think they will decently come back to the nation and say"the Opposition was right and we were wrong , we screwedup"

This Sahadevan KK is a brainwashed(brain dead) mallu communist, who till a few months back was spitting venom on BJP and Narendra Modi while praising the PM, UPA and their cronies. Now since the CPM withdrew support to UPA he had trained his guns on UPA. He doesn't even know the difference between subject line and message text, leave alone the grammar. " If Bhagath singh were ( sick) alive" and the next part " he would have ashamed by MMS" does not convey any meaning. Such people who appear in this discussion forum, irrespective of getting bombarded with hatemails and curses for every posting are making this forum a disgusting one. This fellow sahadeva,, a pseudo know all shall be banned from rediff.

People are singing on Congress at restaurants, parks, streets, buses, trains and public places, wherever they meet. Congress became smelly globally. It is a sinking ship. The alliance partners are not happy and they are ready to jump from the ship, because the travellers have no hope on the Captain.

It is good that Bhagat Singh is not alive so that he can't see what Communist are doing with poors in West Bengal.
And what Prakash Karat is doing for India.

So this is part of the scheme to contain China huh?
by XianYe on Aug 30, 2008 08:32 AM

if yes, is there the slightest possibility of China letting this deal go through the NSG?

if not, why should the US make an exception for India? the US is NOT known for being a benevolent country. It does everything in its interests. where are there interests in this deal? selling a few reactors? lol...

Possible solution
by deride mender on Aug 30, 2008 04:41 AM

India will be open to Chinas shock & awe military operation in any future boarder conflict.
Indian boarder is volatile all around to say the least without nuclear weapons it stands
naked against Chinas ever growing military and newer nuclear weapons.
World is a fast changing place, just look into past 50 - 100 years for proof no one has
seen the future. Nuclear weapons are the ONLY guaranty, to prevent interest altering
wars and compromises being imposed on countries. It kept USA and USSR from going
to all out war for 50 years. It will be a colossal mistake of the new century for a country of billion people strong India to give up nuclear weapons and submit to the goodwill and mercy of others, to dictate your defense. Even countries like France do not compromise
on things like that.
India has plenty of scientific brain to perfect and roll out thorium cycle reactors, to use for power generation.
India has second largest reserves of thorium in the world. India
needs to create a fully funded project even with IITs involved to make this happen. Self
reliance not begging through unjust treaties like CTBT/ NPT/ FMCT is the answer.

India Should Walk Away - Never sign ctbt/npt/fmct
by deride mender on Aug 30, 2008 03:05 AM

This is a good cop / bad cop game, by US
& Europeans aimed at de-nuking India. If
they succeed India will be a Georgia of
sorts, against China, begging for NATO
cover. That may be what west wants , India
to buy protection. It will be stupid to sign
away nukes or ability to mantain them in
future.

Finally, after lot of trying hard, and moral nightmares about his non-secular characters, this dropout has at least, been able to produce a crap piece where BJP/RSS/communal hindus are not directly accused.
However, this does not mean this joke of a nuclear expert has anything meaningful to say.
He first claims that India sold out to USA (refer to earlier crap from him on this subject) and is now saying that deal fell-through because India drove a hard bargain at NSG and manmohan singh government took american promises of a clear and done deal at face value.
No wonder he could not finish his enginerring from IIT Bombay.
This chap is an utter and complete failure in anything where logic in involved.
Dacts are slightly difficult for him to understand and digest. Manmohan singh has led the way in stealth deal with help of only beurocrats without involving any politician of any repute. Beurocrats are not answerable to anybody and would most probably sell their grandmas for a fireign trip.
The whole thing has boomranged. USA has got india into a trap. Now India cannot get NSG waiver without explicity giving up right to do any test alternately India would be get the blame for undoing the deal at a final stage.
Moral of the story : Do not make chapraasis the PM. They are not up to the job.
