Finally, after lot of trying hard, and moral nightmares about his non-secular characters, this dropout has at least, been able to produce a crap piece where BJP/RSS/communal hindus are not directly accused.
However, this does not mean this joke of a nuclear expert has anything meaningful to say.
He first claims that India sold out to USA (refer to earlier crap from him on this subject) and is now saying that deal fell-through because India drove a hard bargain at NSG and manmohan singh government took american promises of a clear and done deal at face value.
No wonder he could not finish his enginerring from IIT Bombay.
This chap is an utter and complete failure in anything where logic in involved.
Dacts are slightly difficult for him to understand and digest. Manmohan singh has led the way in stealth deal with help of only beurocrats without involving any politician of any repute. Beurocrats are not answerable to anybody and would most probably sell their grandmas for a fireign trip.
The whole thing has boomranged. USA has got india into a trap. Now India cannot get NSG waiver without explicity giving up right to do any test alternately India would be get the blame for undoing the deal at a final stage.
Moral of the story : Do not make chapraasis the PM. They are not up to the job.

India cannot be trusted
by Nyayvadi on Aug 30, 2008 12:02 AM  | Hide replies

India conducted pokran-1 in 1973 by diverting uranium meant for reactors obtained from canada.Under these circumstances NSG is right in its approach.
India should sign NPT and CTBT along with defence pacts with USA.India being a democratic country should join with USA.Congress committed a blunder by aligning with a beggar country Russia.Better late than never.
Sign the modified nuclear deal and start running the reactors to full capacity.

I fully support your view. Wonderfully said. India needs a leader who can steadfastly take a position aligned to the USA. India can only prosper if she takes helps from developed countries like USA.

Mr. Bidwai is taking sigh of relief in his wishful thinking,
by G S on Aug 29, 2008 11:53 PM  | Hide replies

He always speaks from Pakistani view point. His pessimism in the article depicts a sigh of relief from pakistan point of view.

India can still do the damage to the countries who are opposing deals. Sweden can be dropped from MRCA contest. New Zealand can be denied any contract in India.
In austria diamond business is run by Indians and a lucrative offer to re-settle those can break astrian economy.
Mr. Praful should get the facts before stating that 20 countries opposed. Only five countries are listed in asking for some conditions and then they will also follow the real politik of the globe. India's rise is inevitable and Pakistani's can not stop it.

indians know only one way of getting others consent, that is by bribing, you appear to be still following that concept in america & getting positive results.

Praful Bidwai can hardly conceal his glee that the nuclear deal is facing rough weather. He has opposed it from the beginning on "non-proliferation grounds". Mr. Bidwai, why don't you bat for the nation for once?

He is busy spending whole day writing complex long sentences. My God, see how many paragraph like long sentences are in his article. What a poor job of writing.

Very complicated writing
by Sudip Bhattacharjee on Aug 29, 2008 10:18 PM

The author writes very complicated complex sentences which can be re-formatted to much simpler one. Is this style of British English? The whole article can be reduced to half the size without leaving out important facts. Rediff needs to pay more attention to editorial jobs.

POPE and UN suggestion to EU
by Fare Well on Aug 29, 2008 09:10 PM  | Hide replies

Pope II has suggested the EU not to support deal with India at any cast, as India is having a bad record of attacking minorities particularly Christians citing the recent example of Orissa. He has used word like pseudo-secular and pseudo-democracy celebrated by Indian state.
Similarly, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights has urged the EU to cancel the deal for India’s rejection on the UN recommendations regarding Human rights violations in Kashmir and using brutal forces against unarmed civilians.

People are singing on Congress at restaurants, parks, streets, buses, trains and public places, wherever they meet. Congress became smelly globally. It is a sinking ship. The alliance partners are not happy and they are ready to jump from the ship, because the travellers have no hope on the Captain.

Please convey my merry christmas to Pope.

Tell him that the Chabahar port in Iran is operational now along with the Zaranj-Dilaram highway, everything done with Indian support. We will buy natural gas to fire our gas turbines from Kazakistan and Iran.

So ask the Pope to pray either for a nuclearised Iran or a nuclear powered India.

Tell the Pope ... "ukhar logay".
