Nuclear deal
by mr c on Aug 30, 2008 11:22 AM

You can't keep the cake and eat it too. India need to show flexibility if it wants the deal. Flexibility does not mean surrender but overall pragmatic view of what we need to achieve by nuclear deal. In fact the entire nuclear weapons in all the countries must be destroyed for peace of the human beings. All those indulging in terrorist activities and killing innocents and destroying both national & private properties must be simply put to sleep.

and unable to sense the Political Terrorism with in the system...

Nuclear deal in dire trouble: Deal or no deal. The important lesson all political parties must know is: Widows/Widowers/Sons/kith/kin of slain political figures or MPs or Non-MPs with support of 10 or 20 MPS can become Chief Ministers/Prime Ministers or Presidents of their parties. People with no political experience or education also can reach those top slots. That is not a crime. Even the tainted and charge sheeted people also can reach those slots. It is also not a crime constitutionally. A good speaker can avert any crisis to any ruling party or a party wishing to come to power by any means. Classic case is Somanath Chatterji Ji. All the above can happen but with a price to the beloved nation. See One N.Deal matter pushed the Kashmir to engulf whole country and back to UN, The Nehruvian doctrine. Like wise de-seating of functioning government in Jharkhand just to fulfil ambition of one person. Similarly the inflation etc. Moral of the lesson. The seat that you occupy will certainly not teach running the chair with out detrimental effects to the Nation. This remains irrefutable fact even considering that last minute miracle favours our country. Finally N.Deal is good. But that does not mean ends justify means always. GS

Mr. Varghese there are lots of deposits in the NE but mining is not being permitted due to local problems. India can more than double its present Nuclear power capacity and run it comfortably if all proven resouces within the country is allowed to be mined.

Sinking ship.

People are singing on Congress at restaurants, parks, streets, buses, trains and public places, wherever they meet. Congress became smelly globally. It is a sinking ship. The alliance partners are not happy and they are ready to jump from the ship, because the travellers have no hope on the Captain.

This deal had been controversial from the very beginning, about 50% were in favour and similar were against. Politically, it is balancing, may be bad for UPA.
Otherwise, we certainly need support on this front, as our technology is of lab level, we are to get it implemented in a big way so that we get fruits of energy.
