getting emotional
by Donald Duck on Sep 01, 2008 12:46 PM

this guy, praful bidwai is a commie and always against developments like WB commies.

and if a supplier groups refuses to sell some technology, for any reason, it does not make it foolish for india to have tried. if they do not want to sell, fine..

they are not donating, they are selling and if they do not want to do busienss, okay.

we should keep trying for nuclear energy and also for alternate routes.

this fool is getting emotional about the whole issue. we can buy technology if it suits our purpose at our terms.

This is all DRAMA from NSG.
by googlingLife on Sep 01, 2008 12:20 PM

Opposition by NSG members is all DRAMA. Its very hard to believe that US could not make all members agree to this deal.
What they are making sure is that government in India can tell its people that the deal was made with great difficulty and in spite of opposition of many countries; and coming governments stick to it.
Tbey want to paint a picture where in it will appear that these NSG guys were not ready; they wanted to change terms; but government did not allowed to change terms; and clinched the deal as it is.
BUT THE FACT IS : The deal in its present form also in not in greater interest of nation. It is camouflaged in such a manner which leads to India accept CTBT indirectly.

Be Spiritual - Mantra for effective Stress Management & Success
by PRASHANT PUPPAL on Sep 01, 2008 12:18 PM

MANTRA FOR EFFECTIVE STRESS MANAGEMENT & SUCCESS

“ BE SPIRITUAL “

A mother has killed her child, or the farmer has committed a suicide, or a student has committed a suicide or a professional has committed a suicide are the frequent news lines today. I believe that the root cause for such actions is sheer mismanagement of human stresses which puts him or her in an uncontrolled life situation.

“Be Spiritual” is the best approach of successfully handling these complex stresses. More than 100 years ago Swami Vivekananda proclaimed “When the life - blood is strong and pure, no disease germ can live in that body. Our life - blood is spirituality. If it flows clear, if it flows strong and pure and vigorous, everything is right; political, social, any other material defects, even the poverty of the land, will all be cured if that blood is pure…. That is the national mind, that is the national life - current. Follow it and it leads to glory. Give it up and you die; death will be the only result, annihilation the only effect, the moment you step beyond that life - current.”

We need to understand this quickly and have to translate it in our day to day actions to relieve our stresses.

Our Vedanta confirms that Spirituality is a science and it is the most practical thing which can be verified globally. If one performs spiritual disciplines, the result is bound to come.

To train the mind to obey you is the ideal of spiritual disci

NSG is a certel
by asha Hope on Sep 01, 2008 11:44 AM  | Hide replies

NSG is a cartel of suppiers. They all will earn profit in selling nuclear fuel to India. As India is a buyer, so all tactics should be adopted to break the cartel insteading of begging for relaxations from the cartel. We may try to lure some contries such as France, Russia by offering them all lucrative contracts in addition to the profit they would earn by being the exclusive suppliers to india. Once the cartel is broken, other countries will be after India and would offer discounts.

This was a good cop / bad cop game, played by US & Europeans aimed at de-nuking India.
If they succeed India will be a Georgia of sorts, against China, begging for NATO cover. That may be what west wants , India to buy expensive protection from them . It will be stupid to sign away nukes or ability to mantain them in future.

Nucear deal
by Awdhesh Kumar on Sep 01, 2008 11:29 AM  | Hide replies

India should not bow down to NSG on nuclear deal as it is against the dignity and sovereignity of the country.India has shown in the past that our engineers, scientists and public are capable to develop indiginous technology in the advnaced fields like energy, space and security. Challenges are bound to come before the nation but we are prepared to face them collectively, as demonstrated during Indo-China and Indo-Pak wars.
Besides, India is now becoming a knowldege hub.Our young talents are making their presence felt globally. There is no reason to be disheartened if the nuclear deal fails at this juncture.
Politically too, it would be suicidal for dr. Singh, Congress party and UPA coalition to make undue concessions to NSG in the name of nuclear technology.
