Hi
Kalam to be next pressident
by Hi on Jun 19, 2007 03:42 PM

First Our Indian National congress became Indira Congress, now it become Sonia's Italian Congress. Sonia have no patrotism nor she want to give repsect to indians feelings. TN CM Karunanidhi stopped Sonia to think Mr.Kalam for second term, as Mr.Kalam, did not attend a fuction of karunanidhi. See how the politics of india. All the politicians are selfish.

If congress want to tell anything good after 5 years of ruling, it will be Kalam's Second term as president. else Sonia's italian thinking will make india into big trouble. Our PM Mr.Manmohan has no boldness or courage to work independently.

God save india. HatsOFF to Mr. ASif Iqbal..

Vinay Gupta
He is not feudal
by Vinay Gupta on Jun 19, 2007 03:38 PM

I remeber one instance. There as tradition that whenever Prez visit Gandhi Samadhi, a chair is used to be put ( no objection to it) and one person used to remove his SHOES!

But when Kalam visited as Prez he removed his shoes himself and changed the tradition which was originated from Feudal mentality or Colonial back ground.

He has set a new heights/ tradition which will go long way in the history of Rastrapati Bhawan.

Nation as well as Rashtrapati Bhawan will miss you. I request you " Please donot go"

There is no question to change presidentship as long as MR.KALAM is alive. He is the perfect choice and nobody can replace him. Nobody in India has such quality to replace him. He is the unique citizen of MOTHER INDIA. Please don't do politics with presidentship.

Press Poll. Dr. APJ Kalam
by Joseph Emmanuel on Jun 19, 2007 03:33 PM

Unfortunately, we can only express our views about the great personality Dr. Kalam and the place for the first citizen of India again. Our Basic system is so, we won't be able to do anything about it. Politicians don't bother about India's growth than thier own. Let us try to live up the dreams of Dr. Kalam.

SSG
President & M A Iqbal
by SSG on Jun 19, 2007 03:26 PM  | Hide replies

I feel blessed & proud to have been alive and witness to Dr Kalam'a Presidency 'cos I was not there when Mahatma Gandhi was killed. Gandhiji must now be turning in his grave to have let Nehru become the PM and thereafter perpetuate the Nehru/Gandhi MISRULE that we now have come to such a pass that only loyalists to the N/G misrule can be called the "Rashtrapati".
I hang my head in shame as a common man & a citizen of this great country "as more that 50% amongst us have not found the most learned Dr APJ Kalam, also a simple, endearing, futurastic current President, fit to guide us for another five years".
MA Iqbal's efforts and persiverance to achieve has shown us that neither one's handicap, nor one's religion can stop us from reaching where we are destined to reach; all that is needed is a little bit of humility and lots of determination.
My Slute to Both the Indian's. They are both Muslims is incidental.

Friends
All good and great things come to an end very quickly like our great kalam's presidency.Along with Rajen Babu,Radhakrishnan Dr.Kalam joins the club of great three Rashtrapatis of independent India. His humility, love for common people, children, his books, father figure personality, positive outlook about India's future-the list is almost endless. He deserves better company that is students whom he loves to teach after leaving Delhi than lousy, filthy politicias of Delhi. As a real people's president he would always live in all our hearts.Let us all pray to our gods to give him long, healthy, satisfying retired life. His idea of Nirmal gram puraskar has transformed thousands of villages into clean, open defecation free villages. This nice idea had never occured to our highly educated civil servants, politicians, social workers.Rashtrapati Bhavan is meant for such extrordinary people not these sychophants, petty old infirm politicians.Hope we will see another Kalam like great in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Meeting HE Dr APJ, Sir
by narendera gupta on Jun 19, 2007 03:25 PM

Dear Friends,

During the 33rd IFTDO World Conference and Exhibition, in 2004, held at Ashoka Hotel under the banner of Indian Society for Training and Development, I had the plesant memories of meeting His Excellency. After the inauguration of the Conference, His Excellency walked upto the group of young students, who were especially invited to sing National Anthem, ahead of his security ring. As His Excellency was leaving the Hall, I met him and I reminded HIM that I had the honour of working under him at DOS/ISRO. He left so enthusiased, he stopped for a while and went on to enquire about Mr P S Kanwal, the then Deputy Secretary to the Govt of India and Mr J C Saxena, the then Administrative Officer. I submitted to Him that Mr Kanwal left for Londoan during 1990 and Mr Saxena retired from Ministry of Labour. I was moved by the degree of memory of His Excellency. I requested him for an autograph, which he quickly responded and obliged. I still keep his autographed paper with me. My whole family, especially my daughter Kamlika Gupta is fond of Dr APJ's personality and endurance.

I had the priviledged honour to have worked under His Excellency during 1973-1977 while at Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space, at Branch Secretariat at New Delhi.

We would have glimpse of great space scientists often, especially during Space Commission meetings in New Delhi. At one such meetings, chaired by Dr Satish Dhawan, Secretary Department of Space and Dire
