What Rubbish
by on Dec 11, 2007 07:02 PM

You lot are full of crap. talking about banning US TV etc.

Look at your film industry guys. Its full of violence. Full of alcoholics beating wife's up. Full of under world, fights, guns, rapes. This is what your children have grown/growing up watching.
Even a U certificates in Hindi films have sex, booze, rape, fight sense in them.

Threes hardly any difference in watching a U or an 18 rated film when it comes to boolywoold films.!

Forget films. Your headline news in papers are always about corruption, rape, kidnapping, murder etc.....

RE:Prosecute the parents as well as their ladlas
by MGR Fan on Dec 11, 2007 07:11 PM
That is all nice to talk in theory.
In reality, the parents will get bail, hire a nice lawyer and case will drag for years.

By that time they will have set up false evidence to deny the crime. Media will forget and the parents and child will walk free and become bigger criminals

We cannot punish even a hardened terrorist like Afzal, you think we can punish someone like these people?

WE ARE APING THE WRONG THINGS FROM WESTERN WORLD..
by MGR Fan on Dec 11, 2007 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

First we adapted Communism that was propagated in Russia, but refused to adopt the work ethic and willingness to do backbreaking work of that country..

Then we adopt the drinking and smoking culture of Western Europe/USA and want to ape them in matters of having premartial sex, but we refuse to adopt their habit of respecting the individual choices, and allowing free enterprise.

We are taking the worst from Western society and retaining the worst of Indian society. That is the tragedy

excellently told.

culture developes from god centric society. today it became a fashion to critisize if some one is devotional, humble, meek, gentle, truthful. while God is going to reward such persons...fellow humans donot even recognise them as good people. Compared to west, the freedom is still more in india. so india will spoil faster and greater than west.

Well told. but i think its not about North INDIA or South INDIA. Its just INDIA and we are all INDIAN's.
Frankly speaking, the things we do depends on the respective individual and the environment around him/her(home, office etc..).
Perticularly in this case, these guys must have been influenced by the activities done in his home. Am not saying that the family member use revolver all the day, but their behaviour with other's must have influenced the kid.
Thats just my openion.
just remind again this quote:
"THE FIRST SCHOOL WILL BE HOME, WHERE THE KIT STARTS LEARNING EVERYTHING".
So mom's and dad's, behave well in home and outside which will help ur kids to grow up properly.

by ram kumar on Dec 11, 2007 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

It is very sad that such incidents are happening in schools (of all the places). And mind you it will continue to happen. Will it be a good idea to punish the parents for such juvenile crime committed by their children? And this need to be told to the children. At least then the children might think twice before taking up to weapons and crime. Because if the children are arrested and remanded to judicial homes, they only return as a criminal (barring a few who might transform).

the problem is not of the child but of the parents.

today, children has no grandparents to tell morals and about GOD.

children has no mothers who stay at home at take care of.

the only thing children have is a big idiot box called Television.

and the channels are on competition.

so almost all channels air objectionable material. and also programs run 24x7.

and most important is that TVs run special shows on CRIME.

the media reasons it out that it is its duty to inform the public,

but public learns all that in a magnified manner.

Hi Ramesh. Crime knows no North, East, West or South. It is the same everywhere. A crime is a crime irrespective of the gender. We make the society. We individuals live life the right way, the society then becomes right. If the society stinks it is because of us. Why don't we first start inculcate good things in our children just the way our parents did? Like the saying goes Charity begins at home. Let us (every one of us)first correct ourselves and then the whole society will change for better

Hi Siva. Agree with you that the TV and the programs aired are actually one of the major reasons for the trend. The programs on crime glorify the criminal rather than laying emphasis on the punishment and the after effects of the punishment.

by ramesh on Dec 11, 2007 06:53 PM

I think its more of a cultural thing.
What do you expect in a society where a child murderer doesnt get convicted ?
Or in a city where a woman gets raped in a car and nothing happens to the criminals ?
The kids will obviously think nobody can do anything to them.
Remember that Delhi is after all the place where all the ministers and politicians live.
They have all the power and the police do as they say.
How do you expect law and order to prevail in a society like that ?
Besides look at their neighbouring countries like Afghanistan,Pakistan and then Bihar,UP.
My god,the whole area is a mess.

Its usually said that people who get provoked easily have very little in their brains.
They are uncultured and unsophisticated, which cant be more true about North Indians.
Look at the crime rates in Bihar,UP and Delhi.
That will tell you the whole story.

RSS/VHP are only saviours of INDIA
by sumangali pukku on Dec 11, 2007 06:47 PM  | Hide replies

This is not a marketing propaganda but true reality of facts going on India right now..
We need a strong government which could solve all problems counter this islamic terrorism, kashmir problems and more important to stop this westernization of our Hindu culture. Ask any normal indian citizen if they know about bhagwan ram teaching or about ramayana or mahabharata im sure more than 50% doesnt about this facts or they are more inclined towards modernization, copying western cultures going around foreign countries ignoring our culture, traditions. To teach all people a good lesson VHP/RSS should come to power to solve all this problems and save INDIA. Jai Hindutva, JAI RSS ///

Alright. In that case throw out the computer that you are copy-pasting message. Apparently these are the creations of West too. And yah...start typing in Hindi. Don't use English. Oh yeah...you must be wearing trouser too. Get out of it & start wearing lungi or dhoti. That's our culture you see.

And yeah. Be the first to implement your Hindu culture. Start it immediately at your home with your family members to begin with. Then you can preach others

Shut up!! We saw the "values" of RSS. We saw what RSS did to a professor Sabrawal. So much for respecting teachers. We have also seen what paranoia they display regarding the Christian missionaries. So much for religious tolerance. Where did you learn your values?Stop saying Hindu and RSS in the same breath. Stop maligning my religion.

NOW IMAGINE WHAT HAPPENS IF PUNISHMENT IS REMOVED FROM SCHOOLS..
by MGR Fan on Dec 11, 2007 06:41 PM  | Hide replies

Nowadays there is lot of noise made in Media by the NGO types , demanding that all kind of punishment should be removed from schools.

If that happens, think what kind of younger generation we will have.

India is better off without these NGO types

Very much. Today we can see how the USA education system has created a set of consumeristic and greedy generation. Apart from the only outstanding among them, they can't even do anything properly. They want the Indian education system to go that way. US education system is good for future scientists and higher education people but not for everyday folks

In western countries teachers are not allowed to punish students.

Students can leave the class and enter class at will and no discipline is expected.

Now India will also become like this in next 10-15 years . Our NGOs are working hard to pass a law to ban punishment in Schools.

It is still not the culture in schools outside big cities.

But in coming years, entire India may become like that. A generation of brats and drunkards will emerge and we cant handle them.

thats good. if that is the case, then all indian children will stay back at homes playing. any way this modern education is not teaching any character. the final gift of the modern education is only unemployment. if the child does not get educated, then he will learn to do any work of his choice (POTTERY, CARPENTRY, ETC). should we think all the professional are people of great character? No. i have observed that only an uneducated person is better off in character than a school educated fellow.
